#23 - Happy and grateful that this Halloween, my children all have fun plans and will be able to enjoy the holiday without a bunch of drama.

#23 - So happy to see that beautiful smile on DD's face every morning. She so rarely wakes with any other attitude; such a happy, glass-half-full kind of kid & I'm so grateful for it!

TGIF Everyone!

Day 23 - Happy for Halloween excitement. I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Dressing up, handing out candy, costume parities - all of it!

Grateful I was able to take some time off work this morning to see my little man in his Halloween parade for school and his smile when he saw me!

Also even though I am getting tired of my commute to work in traffic, seeing the way the leaves are changing on the highway I travel down is really beautiful!

This morning there was fog at the river. What a spooky swish as I wound over the bridge into the next county!

And is anyone else so excited to have Adele back with a new single and upcoming album release??!! I swear, her voice makes me shiver.

Seriously grateful there have been no fatalities in the Texas floods-scary, y'all! Thankful for rain boots for lovely rain walks with my girls and pumpkins to paint tonight!

Happy and grateful for the sunshine here too. Really giddy and thrilled to have a stable and good internet connection again. I really missed watching videos online those past few weeks.

Grateful for a conversation with my husband without alcohol, co-occurring issues, or isms clouding things up. Just for today, I'll fully enjoy that with no expectations or judgements.

Grateful for watching Transylvania 2 at the theater with DS8.

Grateful for neuro feedback, physical therapy and chiropractic sessions. Grateful for movement, and for pain. It's telling me to slow down and take care of myself.

Grateful for the many ways my Higher Power is working in my life. Grateful for the 12 steps and 12 traditions.

#23 Halloween! Yay! I can hardly wait to carve the pumpkin. It is not a big one and I am going to carve some paw prints.

I am grateful for Mounds and KitKats.

Very grateful I was able to get to my Alanon meeting this morning, a beautiful sunny day bike riding and a napping little guy gearing up for tonight's festivities!

I was grateful for the sunshine the other day, and today I am grateful for a rainy gray windy day. Why? B/c it is the perfect excuse to not do any yard work but instead to stay inside and spin this beautiful beautiful wool I have!! The color combo is called "Autumn Dusk" and it is just so lovely I can hardly stand it. Here is a picture of the roving (prepared wool) that I'm working from:

I wish I could find a photo online of what it looks like spun, but no luck.

Anyway, I am mighty thankful for a yucky day today!

Grateful for a sunny day at the park so DS6 could burn off some sugar energy. Grateful I'm getting caught up with things I've been putting off.

Grateful for the little meditation space I made for myself. An exchange w/XAH has left me feeling sad and confused, and I'm going to go light a candle and have a seat there for a bit.

And gotta add to number 24. I talked to my father today and told him, "it was legally over," which would be my dad's code word(s) for divorce. I am very grateful he handled the news way better than I anticipated. The strength I got today after our talk feels pretty much amazing.
