Ooohhh schnookums!! Sweetest of pies :-) That is so great that they responded that way today.

You know what? If someone fired an employee over here without having a damn good reason (and that does not include making honest mistakes) they'd been in for a world of hurt from the employment tribunal. Don't you guys have any rights as workers?

Nah Shab, in my state it's ok to fire someone just because.
But it would have been nice to know the "because".

I really really hope that I can get this thing somehow. I need to pay some bills. I wiped out my tiny savings with medical bills.

They did say the interface I have to use at work is not user friendly. It is very complicated to me.

OK you guys I will try and remain calm and do my thing here. It's really hard though. Really really hard.

Trach ok geez

Well, at least from the look of your new avatar you're getting your brain sorted out what with the colour coding and everything :-)

I'm glad you asked for help, and that they clearly don't want you to leave.

That's a great start both directions.
I didn't ever think I'd figure out that math stuff and worksheet either
and honestly, it took awhile, but with practice, it got very slowly better.

Any new task is like that, especially as we are get older.
Keep taking notes, review the notes when you get to work,
and write down any new issues to crop up and review with management.

I think you will be surprised at how much better it will be as times passes.
I'm with the turtle--don't cut yourself down anymore.

Build yourself up, and realize you matter and your happiness and peace
is just as important as any one else's
.
If your parents, or the world, didn't tell you that it is even more important
that you tell you that over and over and over and over.

I've had a nasty chest cold for almost a full month now but haven't
been able to take off work as this is a "crunch" time.
I just keep coughing up stuff and can't get over it.

I've been getting home and crawling into my "bed island" sleepie so I get it.
Hope you feel better--I can relate to feeling crappy at the moment

Gosh, that's no good at all, Hawk :-/ Sounds like you might have developed an infection and could do with some antibiotics....or maybe you've got them already. I've had persistent coughs like that in the past that hang around for months - they're awful.

Love it! I'm glad you got some positive feeback. Sometimes we're our own worst critics...

Ok also the work stuff is super crazy inducing I was asking tons of questions and the guy who trained me said it's a little confusing. So mostly I think the fact I have stayed cool and polite towards all the rage inducing elements is what he guy was noticing.

I'm so glad you got some positive feedback Sleepie! We all need a pat on the back once in a while.
I think any new job takes a while to settle into; your persistence is paying off..
(I love the pic of the doggie btw..)

Yep--three batches of chicken stock and multiple bottles of Dayquill.
I actually suspended my gym membership this month as I've been too sick to go.

I can barely walk to my office from the parking lot.
Coughing, flem, headaches, very nasty indeed. . .

I am ever-so-slowly getting better but still not there yet.
I make it worse with dairy, but the dairy is my placebo stress reliever

Soldiering on, however, as this is my default mode no matter
how crappy the conditions. . .
