I'm glad you made it through, jsbodhi. That meal sounds wonderful. Get some rest and talk more about your mother tomorrow. She sounds like she has some serious issues and there's no way you can win with her. I agree that it's time to make some distance so you can heal from her hurt. You sound like a good daughter who deserves love and appreciation, not meaness. We love you here, stick with us.

Just caught up on the precipitous events and reports of last few hours here. Whew, what a ride!

The tree is up, it was a fight. And I guess it looks a little like Christmas around here now. Had steak and veggies for dinner, yogurt and berries for dessert.

Getting to bed now, later than I'd like. Dreading Monday.

Good night friends.

wow, sorry to hear that Js was drinking...

Start fresh in the morning.

I finished my turkey soup - yum. And I accidentally picked up a pumpkin cake roll earlier. And I also accidentally ate half of it. I'm having a cup of sleepy time chamomile tea waiting up for the queen. Listened to a great football game. Patriots lose...

Good Night again.

If you spend a long weekend away from this thread and return to it, something amazing is revealed to you:

Strangers care.

Other people care about you. There's a lesson in that. Other people care.

Morning everyone,

Jen I agree with Soberpotamus that you should maybe reduce contact with your mother if she treats you like that. Your future is more important than her bitterness.

I think it great that you have a free range budgie Jen

Well done on the job email Tetra - I am sure you can think of a reason for putting "still interested" in your reply

I can only see large or medium eggs here LBrain, never small ones. Smaller is better when it comes to eggs
