Early Riser Check-in Thread Part 25
Astro, so sorry about your toe. That's all you needed! I hope the game is easy tonight and you take care of that foot.
Up early this morning. Supposed to do my laundry today but I really don't feel like it. Maybe I'll do it Thursday. I have my group tomorrow. Even though I have to force myself to go, I really am getting a lot out of it. There are a couple of people there I feel so badly for, they seem to be in a really bad way. God bless them. The moderators are great, super great.
Wishing you all a wonderful day and love and peace to you all.

Sending healing vibes Astro, maybe you could get some protective footwear for future work, they are not all ugly like they were a few years back.
Good luck at the docs Gatorman!
Glad the earthquake wasn't too severe Zen, they must be unnerving. Interesting caddy pic, it does look like they borrowed some ideas from J. Saoutchik himself - this is one of his from 1948. For a number of reasons he lost his mojo in the late 1940s, this is not one of my favourites though it definitely has a certain presence.

Packing and moving just little by little, so it doesn’t seem like much has been accomplished yet….
I’ve also been trying to spruce up the plants at my mom's place to get it more attention….mobile homes don’t sell too quickly in Florida during hurricane season…
Keeping going….

You'll get there Purps, good luck.
In the mid 60s they built something called an amphicar in Germany, most of them were sold in the States, 3000 or so.
I have been to the dentist this morning. No work needed which is a relief but I had a deep clean and although I didn't call out or flinch I came close several times. It seemed to go on for ages although it was probably only five or ten minutes. What a baby I am.

Those amphicars are supremely cool, I remember them from Chicago's Riverview Park in the 60's!
Toe is feeling much better and I'm getting around without much pain. Working Snoop Dogg tonight so my greater concern is staying outside, working the gates so I can avoid the second hand smoke!

Astro,
We use to go to Riverview back in the 60's, too.
I was just a baby but, I remember stories!
Then there was a place called Old Chicago which was an indoor park!
High School summers were spent either at Navy Pier
or Great America

Grateful I got to sleep in a little bit this morning. Grateful to have my morning routine done before I have to get up and jump in the shower. I have my group today. I wish I didn't have so much to do before I go, but I'll get it done.
Grateful for my mom so much. She is still sleeping. I think sleeping is so healing for her right now. She had a severe brain injury and sleep helps heal the brain with the spinal fluid lubricating everything.
Wishing you all a wonderful day and so glad this darn headache is still with me and thankfully it's not from imbibing. The weather and stress I think.
Love and peace to you all.

Willys–Overland Motors
Sao, I know only a few European motor makers and GB and Japanese automobile makers. So we're even on that matter 😀
Good first shift sleep 6 or 7 hrs. Cup-O-Java, SR, read news headlines and maybe come across a good article in the business or science section. Tick another project box off on the list and farm a good mood. Plant happy seeds 😁
