A breezy 59 degrees this morning. I’d like to send that your way Astro. Enjoy the concert. I’ve seen ZZ Top a couple of times myself.

I finally received a text from my son. I called after work and left a message which wasn’t screened by the ridiculous Google app.
Of course he texted that Gdaughter missed me. I’m not falling into his BS games. He can return my call if he wants.

I work 10:00-6:00 today. I scored yesterday on a black leather jacket and brand new Ugg clogs. Day before was a Scottish wool button down sweater and a cashmere sweater. Plus a few items for Gdaughter. A definite perk. I will be styling at the grocery store ha ha.

Alpine maybe home today ?

Slept late but up enjoying coffee…have a great day!

Up and plugging right along. Coffee Day to counteract the off-label (not the funky type that gets me in crazy trouble) anxiety prescription causing lead head feeling. Anxiety has been sky high past couple of days. Good Lawdy psych meds can be nasty. I see why people being put on them find the side effects as nasty or more disabling than the illness being treated.

The Dude must abide.

I slept in until 8 today instead of the 5 am I've been getting up to. I'm still really tired and it feels like quite hot again. Maybe my mom and I will have lunch together and go shopping or something.

ZZ Top, fantastic Astro, I bought an album of theirs - Tejas- on a whim in the 70's before MTV made them big. I don't think I had even heard a single song, I just liked the song names (Arrested for driving blind)

I hope your brakes come in at less than $800 i'm guessing it's more than new pads.

Rare-ish treat, I saw my 2 grandchildren today, fantastic. Fine girls 13 & 6 Time flies.

Nice to see the grand kids Sao! Tejas was a great album and representative of ZZ Top's sound in the early days.

Chloe, that sounds great. I wish it was cloudy and coolish here. We have another hot one. I broke my streak of waking up at 5 and got up at 8:30. Still not too bad. I figure if you can sleep, you must need it. Of course work gets in the way of that most of the time.

I think it worked at least a little, Val. It's overcast and below 100 this morning so it feels good so far. Are you spending all your income on hip clothing? :D

Yeah the music last night was over the top good, all the old classics and I had fun working with the truck drivers and stage/touring crew. I'm also sort of a doorman, so I got to hold doors for all the members of ZZ Top and my favorite guitarist from Lynyrd, Rickey Medlocke. That guy is sorta larger than life to me, he's an amazingly skilled southern rock guitarist.

I'm glad to be home for two nights, I need some time with my wife and our dog, and some home cooked meals. I'm thoroughly burned out on fast food breakfast sandwiches and Jimmy John''s subs, but definitely grateful they feed us at work.

I suspect you nudged the little B in the top left corner Val.

That sounds great Astro, I bet it's hard work but enjoyable.
