Yup, that's the one CK!!

Back to the office, yawn, much prefer working from home. Thank goodness for the 28oz Yeti cup to keep the coffee hot.

My next coffee maker is going to be a percolator like my grandparents had! Their morning coffee smelled so good and brings back great memories!

My parents had a big one when they entertained. Along with a fancy serving tray and cups. The whole set up was sensational.
Maybe that is why I love the tea party from Alice and Wonderland and the 'Be Our Guest" scene from Beauty and the Beast!

I remember my parents having a perk coffee pot for years. Is the coffee good from one of these?

How did the interview go Val?

Off to the Cafe for a cup or two on Twos-day.

Have a good day all!

Awake off and on all night with a miserable cold. My dry throat kept waking me for water. Drugged up now with coffee.

I remember the percolator my parents had forever before Mr Coffee took over. I have no memory how the coffee tasted. I started coffee drinking at 14 and started a lot of other things I shouldn’t have.

The round one interview was ok. It is a tax business with only 2 people there. I honestly am not feeling enthused.

Heading back to bed after I finish my coffee and drugs kick in.

Happy Tuesday everyone.

Percolated coffee is really very good and very hot.

I grew up to the sight of a Chemex every morning; my Mom had one all of her life.

A true early riser before 3:00 AM. Miserable cold is still miserable. I called the Dr yesterday afternoon and left a message. Everyone I know has a sinus infection, bronchitis and ear infection. Bad germs! I don’t think any of those are contagious though.

I was not selected for round 2 job interview and I’m not disappointed at all. That was my idea of bored dead.

I had to Google what a chemex is. Never heard of it. I’m not a coffee connoisseur but it sounds interesting.

I’m staying out of the cafe so I don’t spread germs but save me some goodies please.

I think percolated coffee is wonderful, yes very hot and can be very strong, and you can usually get multiple pots out of the same basket of grounds.

Hopping on the motorcycle and heading off to work, y'all have a great day!

Feel better Val. There is a ton of virus, flu and Covid all circulating around. My daughter has been home from school all week. The doctor just said she has one of the many viruses that are floating around but it's not the flu.

Heading over to the Cafe for some coffee before a long night at work.

Have a good day all!

Now I’m remembering the dream I was having just before I woke up….I was looking at a menu and couldn’t decide what to have for breakfast….I must’ve been at the Sober Rise n’ Shine Cafe!
