Have a good day at work and enjoy your Sunday everyone.
Up about 0300...slept pretty well, early, and 2-3 hour segments, but more of a deep sleep.
Took care of myself yesterday of course first sobriety.
I ate 3 meals.
Day 4 of snow...above freezing so it's not sticking to the walks or roads.
Nothing major like our Canadian SR friends.
Automatic deep dive in to the past as I sat outside...past women relationships that could've been, drunken actions, blah blah blah.
Literally shook my head and said think of the kids and Gkids.
Alrighty then...COFFEE!!! Have a joyful day.

Actually, it's been quite nice these past few days. Around -6c (21f), no snow and no wind. It's going to be mild all week, which is really strange, we usually have two weeks of deep freeze around this time of about -35c (-31f). I'm not complaining.....

But 41f/5c tomorrow.
Dragon, I love that 21 degrees is a warm wave for you folks. Having never lived in cold climates like you folks, how to you keep pipes from freezing and car batteries from dying? Whenever we do get a cold plunge, no one can start their car and lots end up with frozen, broken pipes.
Up a 3:10 and laid in bed for half an hour, but could not fall back asleep. My sleep app says that I am a 1 on a scale of 1 to 5 for readiness/ sleep hygiene. Hopefully I can improve my score on my days off.
Have a good day all!

All our pipes are below the frost line and our cars have block heaters. We keep them plugged in on timers and give them a couple of hours to warm the oil before starting. But that's only in very cold weather. Car batteries will last four or five years. I just replaced mine a few weeks ago.
I imagine what happens in the warmer climates is car batteries will last longer as they don't need as many cranking amps as in cold weather. So many are already old and weak when the cold hits.

I love to start my day sitting outside. It’s 30 degrees and quite comfortable without wind. The Wyoming wind is the killer. Guess we’re all used to it.
Slept very well and it’s going to be a good day.
Happy Monday to all.

Detroit is a bear weatherwise for where it's situated.
Same old same old but doing well. Gotta keep my energy up. Ordered groceries online from Wally-World and pick them up this morning.
I like the shopping in person but also the ease of ordering. I see they deliver for a fee too....which would be worth it when sick or in a storm.
I think our water mains under the street will bust first before anything in the house!!!
Ok sober citizens of SR have a wonderful and safe day.

Never failing bathroom alarm and wide awake when planning to sleep in till 5:30. Had a coughing attack that disturbed sleep also. I am much better though so no complaining allowed.
I’ve been curious about ordering groceries online to pick up. It would save money on impulse shopping.
A tolerable Tuesday to all.

Oh yes, BIG snow in Detroit...
All the lakes and such.
So many grocery delivery services available where I live.
They really do save time but there are still some things I like to pick out for myself. We have many Trader Joe's close by and they have not jumped on the delivery bandwagon yet.
Does any one here do a journal? Daily or otherwise?
Just curious.
