Went to bed early even before halftime...I think my sobriety is truly affecting my patience, expectations, and such with sports. Football certainly is nothing to get drunk over, bent out of shape about. I never worked in the field nor have any investments in teams. I don't get paid millions of dollars and I'm finding it hard more to relate to the players and their on-field off-field antics. I haven't acted on my betting and gambling addictions for a long time.
So it's a part of life now that is relegated to entertainment. And I guess that is part of sobriety and recovery.
good morning everyone...have a fun and safe day

Slept ok but would have stayed in bed today if not for the pup needing breakfast and a potty run.
How do those in the snow manage the pup potty walks?
I think mine would refuse to go out! She can barely tolerate rain. When I lived in the snow I had indoor cats lol.
Imvalentine, hope you at least had time for coffee!
Happy MLK Jr Day all.

Mine has two winter jackets and refuses to wear booties. We keep a path shoveled in the back for him. He goes out and back in quick as he can. Walkies are reserved for nicer weather, mostly ' cause he's wee little and also won't wear boots.

No oversleeping today as I’ve been up for a couple of hours. Urg! Work today due to other persons illness. I sure hope she’s better by Thursday. She’s been off on a trip to Florida also. A touch of resentment on accommodating others issues brewing. I’ll stop whining and get on with it.
My deceased chocolate lab loved snow and walking 2 miles a day to her park. She would pout if not taken.
A tolerable Tuesday to all.

It's hard to change sleep patterns I think..
I am so used to getting up early for work which allowed me to accommodate everything else . Now I get up early anyway..Tell myself it's better to keep on a schedule while job hunting so it's not so much of a shock getting back to work lol.
My dog is tiny too and a little delicate physically but thinks she is much bigger than she.
Wishing you all a safe and lovely day.
