I know Brian. My heart hurts for her. I can't begin to imagine her pain. I think it must make it so hard when you know they willingly left you. My heart hurts for anyone that is such a deep dark place that they can't see ANY light. Not even a glimmer. It's so heartbreaking.

SR was a saving grave for me to Brian. It really does help so much to have a place you can go day or night and be lifted up and encouraged.

I am happy things are going well for you Brian. I kicked a nasty oxy habit a few months ago, before I stopped drinking too. My dealer would give me a handful of 80s when I was trying to stop, so walking away was no picnic.

I just really want to clarify that loperamide is a weird drug, but it is not weak. Just because you can't feel it doesn't mean it's not doing all the same things to your body that the perks did, and maybe more. The withdrawal from it has been reported to be be horrible, worse than oxy. So please take care.

I have used it on and off for years, so I am not judging at all, but I really want you to be aware.

And for peetes sake, keep going! You are doing great!

Brian, I found them to be very helpful as well, just be careful on how many you use and for how long, or you may never go again!

Don't worry about how much you post at all! When I first quit I thought the same thing, I was posting like a mad woman! But it really does help....helped me a ton. So keep posting. You're doing great and I'm really happy for you!

If the imodium gives you bad wds at least you can wean down slowly. It isnt like buying percs or hydro. You havent been on it long, though.

This old steelworker is going to make it got my one week anniversary tomorrow at eight pm the only thing that bothers me is I thought I would be a text message king after all this typing I've done on this Galaxy phone I'm using but its not happening lol got to get back online thirty some years in the mill my fingers don't work like they use to but that's the least of my worries all have a wonderful Friday
