Steely Dan is pretty groovy on top of being known as some of the best mastered albums to ever exist.

I love anything by Maria McKee. She used to be with Lone Justice when she was about 17 years old. She is really popular in the U.K. and Ireland and parts of Europe. Her style is all over the place. She can do anything. Tom Petty wrote a song for her to sing called, Ways to be Wicked. I used to cover it when I was in a band. I covered a couple of her songs. I love her lyrics and her music so much. I wish she was still in America so I could go see her. Sometimes I'd go to parties where people would bring instruments and amps and we'd jam. It could be really fun until the some of the guitar players started with their 12 bar, 3 chord blues. They're easy to play so a lot of the people who are kind of dilatants play them a lot. There is an art to a good blues song too.
When she was breaking out so young she'd play at the Palamino Club in LA and places like that. Must have been super fun and I think she's super talented!
I like so many different types of music, she is one of my favorites though. Van Morrison is one of her big influences. She even covered an old Carol King song, I've never heard Carol sing it, but Maria does it great. She sounds like an interesting person.

Beth Hart. This lady can belt them out. I thoroughly enjoy the blues. Gritty hip-swaying dancing to the blues is "truth". I need to go out dancing. Get my funk on.
