Dee, I’d love to start another thread, please. Because, I’m evolving!
I will say this, though. I stopped drinking last time, for two and a half years, then stopped this time, once more, by utilising the concepts of Rational Recovery/AVRT.
But, I think it’s author, Jack Trimpey, got the support group issue wrong. Originally, there were support groups, in AVRT, for a certain period. Then they were totally disbanded. This negation of support policy removed the beneficial potential of the human element; the support, insight, wisdom, bonding. All of which I’ve found so healing on SR, this time around.
So yes, Dee, I’d like a new thread, please!
