24 hour NO nicotine/smoking club part 6
Way to go Boxin!! The second year is really so much easier than the first. I haven't really had any cravings to smoke in my second year. I may have an rare thought about it, especially if I am having a really terrible day or I see somebody else smoking. But I know from hard-earned experience that listening to those thoughts and thinking I could have 'just one' could and likely would lead me back to smoking more than ever.
MIRecovery- Way to go on 2 weeks!! You can do this and it just keeps getting easier and easier.
24 more for me. The only other time I had a long stretch like this off the smokes, I started again right around this same time: somewhere between 22 and 23 months. I was at this coffee shop with this boyfriend of mine who was a complete a-hole. I think we'd been fighting over something and he was smoking and I just thought something along the lines of "F-it, I'm going to have one." I ended up being unable to quit again for more than a year and was smoking more heavily than ever. I am determined to make it to two years this time around... and beyond.

Off air for a while with a virus........
Smoke free, and keeping my guard up against the benzos too.
Sober also.
Bothered quite a bit with worsening arthritis, R knee mainly. Too old!
Had to change my gym routine and power walk instead of jog.
No oxycontin for this old dude!
