Pledging for today. Day 213. Memorial for my godmother this weekend. Hope I live to be 93+ like her.

Good Morning Weekenders

Thinking of posters who are going through a trying time at the moment

Mags, it's great to see the sun. It makes me feel a whole lot better and that's before I leave the house to walk outside in it.

Snoozy, I love the dancing banana in your signtaure! I find it both fascinating and relaxing to watch

It's hospital time for me this morning. It's a routine three month follow-up review after I had two stents implanted in February. I can't believe it's three months already. Once again, time is flying by. It's only a scheduled half hour appointment with the consultant cardiologist in the one of the cities near to me. If it's still sunny when my appointment is over I think I might head down to the coast for an hour or two. It'll probably be a bit cold but at least there'll be plenty of fresh sea air. A good long walk along the sea front will be good exercise too. Also, I'm feeling the best I've felt for years so this will help reinforce that.

Have a peaceful day everyone.

Robbie, hope all goes well
preop was uneventful, although in significant amount of pain after because I had to walk a distance to get back to my car. I was describing the pain to the PA as a very bad blistered sun burn that I am taking a cheese grater to. At times it is so bad it make me sick to my stomach. Bla

Not feeling too awful since going to the ER yesterday. They did a bunch of tests, x ray, blood work, and EKG. All tests came back normal. I made a follow up appt with my doctor for next week.

Still tired and had a hard time getting to sleep last night, didn't finally crash til about 6 am.

(((PJ))), I'm sorry those memories still bother you.

(((Alpine))). I hope you start feeling better soon.

I hope you sleep better tonight least.

All went well for me at the hospital. Indeed, the cardiologist has taken me off one of the blood pressure medication tablets I have been taking so I now only need to take one tablet once a day a day instead of one twice a day. After my appointment I went for a walk around the city centre and did some shopping before heading home. I never made it to the coast for a walk along the seafront but I can go there another day.

It's bedtime now (it's heading towards 1am) so goodnight!

Feeling a bit better today. Back still hurts a lot but it's still not as awful and the right hip injury I had last fall.

Only got a few hours sleep last night so hope sleep comes easier tonight.

Billie just peed so we can go to bed any time.

Nighty night weekenders!

Robbie pleased all went well at your follow up appointment.

Alpine, your strength and determination (and humour) through all your pain is amazing and steadfast.

Least hope you get some sleep.
