Day 41, I’m in for a sober weekend. I stay far away from any drinking challenges. Like going to a concert, Mexican restaurant, limiting toxic family triggers, I’m just not ready. Exercise helps, exercise is the opposite of drinking. Although I exercise, it’s a pizza n Netflix Friday.

Good Morning Weekenders

Tica in my first few weeks of being sober I had all this time where I’d normally have been crashed out drunk. Finding new things to do without getting triggers, it could’ve been so easy to fall back in the trap. Hope your pizza and Netflix was good. And congratulations on 41 days.

It's 4 weeks sober for me today. I'm under orders to take it easy at present and that's a good enough excuse to spend a large part of the day watching sport (mainly football) on TV. That's the way I Iike to spend my Saturdays.

Here for sober weekend. Got some pretty bad news regarding the biopsy. Sigh..I have to have more tests done next week and to top it off Mr. A is traveling for work then.

I watched season 4 of You, not as great as the first two tbh. Any Netflix suggestions here? I actually ended up reading until 1 am. I have 6 weeks af today. I’m enjoying all the extra food I can have and money I have since I quit drinking.

We had a nice visit. Went to Starbucks on the corner and got cappuccino. Came back to my place and ordered dinner. Ate and then they had to go home to feed their dog. Had a nice time with them.
