Kaily, you got me started watching dog agility trials and it's great fun. . I'm just now watching a crufts Rescue Dog agility trials and it's wonderful. These are all rescue dogs and some of them are quite good at it. One dog stopped the trial and went over to the people sitting and came up to them and wagged his tail. . But it's fun watching these dogs compete. They are truly talented dogs.

. Some of the rescue dogs knew how to jump and all but didn't seem too interested in following the course. . The announcer made it clear that this was not a competition, just to demonstrate how rescue dogs were good adoptable dogs and smart too. . PJ, one of the dogs was from Battersea Dog Rescue.

I subscribed to the Crufts channel so get lots of videos of dog agility courses. I love watching them.

Good Morning Weekenders

Hope it was a good Christmas Day for all Weekenders.

I think the last few weeks of moving have caught up with me….or it could be all the coughs and colds spreading with no mask wearing now but I’m feeling rough. Chest infection and started taking my prescribed rescue meds (antibiotics) so hopefully it’ll pass in a few days. Apologies if I’m repeating myself, I’m good at that.

I hope you’re safe from some of the extreme weather around the globe.

Love to all Weekenders xxxx

So that was Christmas...

Least glad you are enjoying the videos. I love agility.

So sorry you are poorly, Mags. I hope the medicine does its job. Did you still do Christmas dinner?

Here's a little fella that looked very content at the end of the day

Thanks Kaily. That’s a very cute pic of Alfie, bless him. He looks very contented. I did do Christmas dinner in a fashion. I’d cooked the turkey day before so just had veg and roasts to do. Mr. Mags did the washing up thankfully. Dishwasher not plumbed in yet.

I'm glad you managed. I hope you can rest today.

My salmon en croute turned out nice, not that you would know. I had to fish for compliments from my dad. No pun intended He never fails to disappoint me. The one thing I asked him to do was buy the dogs a present. He didn't.

I agree, Mags, I think the last few weeks have caught up with you.
Moving house is a physical, mental, and emotional effort, working, co-ordinating, thinking, and remembering everything, and you have done very well.
Time to rest for a while - potter if you must, but only the absolute essentials, and focus on getting well.
I hope you will see some sunshine which always lifts the spirits, and I hope the medicines do the trick.

Take care.

Thanks Kaily, sorry your dad didn’t appreciate you. Is he doing better with the meds? Glad your meal went well.

Caramel thanks, yes, it’s been hectic even though I’ve had time to prepare for moving. I will rest.

Feel better soon Mags….be sure to follow doctor’s orders! And lots of fluids!

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas….

Busy week…off from work thank goodness, but today I switch from one pet sitting job to another for a few days, then I’ll be back to this one in time for the New Year!

It definitely would not be possible if I was still drinking, so thank you all so much for being here!

Kaily, that is an adorable picture. Sorry about your Dad. I know exactly that feeling.

Not sure what is the plan for today. Mr. A has the day off. We may go over to the house to get more ideas of what we want to do. Mr. A is now thinking he may want to take a wall down that is between the kitchen and the living room to open it up a bit.

Yes Mags he seems a lot better thanks.

Thanks Alpine, sorry you have similar problems.

Enjoy the pet sitting Purps.

Me and the dogs have just done a 3 hour walk. I really needed to de-stress. I think maybe we overdid it. We are exhausted and aching.

Love the pictures Kaily.

Today will be trying to transition back away from Christmas sweets and overeating, though tonight will be a fancy dinner out.

Later this week looks to bring more typical Florida winter weather, and work.
