Very pleased that Alfie is showing improvement. 
. We care so much for our furkids and it hurts to see them hurt or sick and you don't know what's wrong. 
. I know if Billie goes 'off her feed' for a couple days I get antsy and will take her to the vet if it's been two days of not eating. She normally has a very good appetite so if she refuses food, it worries me.
The back pain is still there, in the background, but the pain now is the neuropathy in my feet.. Mostly at night it's not just the constant numbness, but they are painful too, by turns. Pains in my heels or toes. Like jolts of electricity. . I see my (new) PCP on the 21st and will ask him to please put me on something else. I will try all the meds that are used to treat this, it is making me crazy. Because my feet feel numb from the ankle down, it's hard to walk well. I feel like I'm walking like I was drunk. . ugh I take very short steps, and shuffle along. sigh...
Really glad Alfie is doing better.
Bless his little canine cardiac muscle. Does Daisy seem to give him a wide berth, seeing as how he's not feeling himself. Some animals show remarkable compassion for buddies if they're sick.

Thanks Least. I have never known him as poorly as he has been. He was on the verge of collapse. Daisy kept prodding him on the first day but then did back off. She enjoyed eating the food that he wouldn't. Also a solo walk

It's fun when you can meet up with another member here. . I met chicory and she gave me a lovely little cat back in 2014 in the spring. . Oddly enough, the cat was named Lily, which is my mom's birth mom's name. I still have Lily, tho she's not the lithe little sprite she was back then, but now she's more matronly, pleasantly plump. . She's still active tho, despite turning 10 in January. . She wrestles with Billie to stay in shape and is still quite spry.

Morning Mags and all,
Settling in for another sober weekend if not a quiet one - Guy Fawkes night tonight! There's a village in the UK called Edenbridge where they burn effigies of famous celebrities. I'll not mention their latest (you can Google it) but it's all done in fun, I hope.
Funny you should mention 'Mortimer & Whitehouse gone fishing' Mags, I saw it for the first time a week or so ago and really enjoyed it. Along with Countryfile it's a great way to relax.
Glad that Alfie is on the mend, good to have the company of fellow weekenders, onwards!

hello everybody !
finishing up the work week today. I walk a ton at work and I was exhausted yesterday so I was in bed before 6 last night. Feeling great this morning. I've hit a great grove between work, therapy, and just about everything. Now I have to stay in my lane and stay that way.
Georgia has another big game later today against Tenn. I'll be watching the game over at my dad's place. He enjoys the company and I have to enjoy watching the games over there while I can. I am sure we will be absolutely packed at work today so that will make the time go by fast.
