Anyway communication was a little difficult as his English wasn't very good. As time went on I understood him better and he got more and more cheeky. I heard his story, he had come from Iran, gone to college here to learn English and got a level 2 pass. He goes to the gym 5 days a week then proceeded to show me a picture of him all pumped up in just a pair of shorts and wanted me to feel his arm muscle which was a bit weird. As he approached me, Alfie got very protective and was having none of it, Daisy joined in too.

He made a terrible mess but apologised profusely. I was so impressed at how thorough he was at fixing the cracks so I didn't mind. He still needs to come back as time ran out.

He decided I needed a man, that I should drink on Fridays and that we should get married

A strange afternoon.
Strange - I'll say! Glad those dogs were on your side. Hope you can find good professional tradesmen in future.
Take care.

I am going to use this thread to keep me sober this week. Was sober for years and fell off a few days ago. Scared me I don't want to go back there

I'm sorry you relapsed Milo, must of been very scary. Yes do keep posting .

Caramel, the house is rented so I have no say in who they send round. I think people soon pick up that I am not very good at establishing boundaries. Situations like that often seem to arise in my life. I don't think he mean't any harm.

He doesn't sound very professional though Kaily. There's nothing wrong with being friendly but I'd say he sounds a bit creepy.

Hello milothrcat, welcome to the Weekenders

Yes I agree not professional.

I guess that's why I decided to share it here. He also asked me a lot of questions. I did kind of worry that he might be trying to find out when I am out. I have heard that some workman tell others when the house is empty for burglary. I am hoping if that was the case Alfie will have deterred him.

Or maybe just bored and passing the time

Welcome milo. Hoping you find your way back to not drinking. Put it behind you and do the next right thing. Just don’t drink now. All are here for support.
