Good morning Mags,

Nice to see you up early as always - thank you for the thread. It's great to learn from some of Cathy's wisdom here. As you say, sobriety is a much better rush.

Not such a relaxing weekend this time around with plenty of domestic and work chores to complete. Regardless, I'll be doing it sober and making the most of every minute!

Congrats CBS on your 18 months. Warm wishes to all. Forwards.

Hi Forwards. I learnt a lot from Kathy’s words. She’s inspiring in the words she left behind. Hope your work is enjoyable at home.

Congrats on 18 months CB
Not much goign on here, we may hold off on paddle boarding or canoeing today because it is on the windy side, cool and grey.

CBS, congratulations on eighteen months! And thanks. It sounds like you miss your mum terribly. I'm sorry. I hope the estate business isn't too onerous.

Hi Alpine! I continue to enjoy your thread!
I'm going for a brisk walk every day and I find this helpful. It's cool and very windy today, so good for walking. I have a lot of garden cleanup to do, as the heavy wind has brought down a lot of tree debris. I will have to wait until the wind settles down.
I hope all are well!

Purp every time I see your avatar it makes me smile.
We are having a break from the heat and humidity today. Only going up to 87 F. Yesterday was 96 and so muggy but we had a nice storm come through. Only thing is we just lost power. Must be some residual tree or limb issue from yesterdays winds.
Got some weeding done and groceries bought. Now I need to pick a task that doesn't require electricity. Maybe more weeding. But my back is sore.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Good news Purps.

Leshar, I always think walking can help, it can lift you up. Enjoy your garden work too.

I’m ok from the vaccine just feel like I’ve been punched in the arm. And I relaxed my arm.

Went over to help my Mom which always frazzles me and puts me on edge. I will need to do something enjoyable later on as Mr. Alpine's Mom just frazzled him and he is very burned out already from working 60 hours a week for years and is salaried so does not get paid any extra. Sigh, keeping the focus and know drinking would only make things far worse.

Good news Purplrks!

Well done Mags.

Much cooler today - which is a bit annoying on a Saturday to be honest.

Time for some synchronised dad dancing, great track though

Thanks Purps. I hope so. We may go for a bike ride tomorrow morning, then we will go to the NH to visit his father with his mother which will end up being most of the day between the drive, visit, and drive back. He then heads back to CO on Monday morning for a week for work.

Nice and contentedly tired tonight. Had kind of a busy day, running errands, I forgot several things at the store but managed to get to the library, the post office, two pharmacies and a quick pick up at the grocery store. The weather has been cooler the last two days but I heard a heat wave was coming in tomorrow. Oh well, the cool wave was nice while it lasted!

Have a wonderful Sat evening and Sunday everyone.
Love and peace to you all. 💖💟☮💞 I hope everyone is well!
Mags sending good vibes for your wrist and one handedness, love. xxoo
