End of Day 199 - emotionally heavy day with another big offer. Expecting a third offer soon based on the team match call today. Feeling very happy but very tired.

Whatever the pay hike is, whatever the pressure is, no drinking. Sobriety is a very delicate glass ball and I can't afford to drop it and go back to the aimless, respect less, peace less existence again. Goodnight from Seattle.

Morning Weekenders, up early to put some washing on, it's a glamorous lifestyle I lead.

Reid - did you get your lost luggage back? Some friends of mine lost theirs too recently.

So forcing myself to do stuff, starting with a cleanup outside......picked up for free by local council.

Thinking of you PJ.

Mags, I'm super vigilant about wheat now since being diagnosed with celiac last year. I can no longer have my favourite Australian black licorice as it has wheat.
I order gf cookies online. I need a sweet treat. I'm struggling with alcohol cravings the last day or two, and I binged on the cookies last night, I'm ashamed to say. I feel out of control. I sweated a lot overnight and eyes were super puffy this morning, just like when I was drinking. It's horrible. I know I must press on.

PJ, I hope this day finds you feeling better

Know what's strange..I went Vegan for about 2 years and thought I was doing great, went and got blood tests done and my cholesterol was way to high. I went back to eating meats and my cholesterol returned to normal. I was reading that some people with certain disorders should not eat that way(vegan). Hmm. Not sure.

Leshar I think of you you and remembered you are Celiac, when I’m looking at gf foods. Must be so difficult for you. Do you halve a problem with dairy foods also. Mr. Mags is finding some of them don’t agree with him.

Alpine, that’s strange isn’t it. I guess we still have to replace the vitamins , proteins and such that meat gave us to have a balanced diet.

Boom! 4 days off.

I feel for you PhoenixJ , I hope your GP can be of some help.

Hang in there Leshar, sunlight and exertion helps sleep patterns but that might not be what's causing the poor sleep. Alcohol definitely won't help so well done for resisting Good luck.

Here's the last car Saoutchik designed - a Pagaso from 1953. Pegaso's are not well known - built only in the 1950's in Spain and expensive. Latin American dictators used to be fond of them.

Mags, I'm ok with dairy, thank goodness. I'm managing the celiac fine at home. It's more of a problem were I eating in a restaurant which I rarely do.

Saou, thanks for the support.

I really like that car, Sao. Sporty and elegant at the same time.
