Morning all,

Just a quick check in to say hello. Thanks Mags for the thread. Good luck with your 5 dog walk today Kaily - let us know how it goes :-)

Right, time to focus... I'm settling in to the new flat which is good but have lots of work to get done as always!

Warm wishes from here. Forwards.

Kaily, five dogs.! Yikes. I I’m sure they’ll all be as good as gold. , I’m not too bad thanks, still feeling a bit rough. I’m getting there!

Saou, have a good day on your travels.

Love to all Weekenders xxxx

Went to my pain specialist on Monday about the headaches. He think's he's an inflammation of a nerve at the back of my neck that's causing it (caused by the COVID Infection)
I'm on anti-inflammatory meds for a month and can get a site injection if that doesn't work but he is hopeful it should clear up in the next few weeks. Been a long 2 months with it now. I'm off to Barcelona tomorrow for the F1 race for the weekend. A badly needed break.

Enjoy Barcelona Reid, fabulous city. As a youngster a few of us drove there from London in a day once and that included a cross Channel hovercraft (no tunnel back then) It was a thousand miles more or less. The folly of youth. Fingers crossed the anti-inflammatories are the solution.

Good luck on the work front Neferkamichael.

Just outside Cardiff now. Here is the back of the Millennium Stadium and the River Taff's.

wow, this head cold is really kicking my... head. No energy no ambition no strength. I just feel like a wrung out rag.

really enjoying the view outside my living room window. Those big orange flowers that attract hummingbirds. I love hummingbirds and I'll be seeing a lot of them here.

my living room window overlooks the courtyard where the pool is. The dog park is only a short walk away.

I really like living in California, this is great!

This is a cold. I caught it from CK she was sick last week when she was at my house. Did a COVID test it was negative. My head feels like a cement block. My nose is either stuffed up or runny. I'm staying inside to avoid anyone else catching this cold.

There's a door in my bedroom and it goes out to a tiny little porch, I've been taking a chair out there and just sitting in the sun and the breeze. That's one of the things on my daily check off list that CK made, sitting outside in the sun for at least 30 minutes a day.

they made sure I had everything I need.

Least, I'm sorry about your cold, but it's good to read that you are getting settled and are happy where you are.

Least hope your cold soon passes love. I heat up lemonade in the microwave and have a dollop of honey in it (or on its own if I’ve no honey). It seems to help a bit. Hugs.
