Phew, I can take the lost penguin posters down now. Good to see you Sao.

Just back from a dusk walk at the golf course. Bit scary in the dark.

What a fantastic photo Kaily!

It has been a fine day here in London not to mention National Toast Day in Britain.

Welcome back Sao! I also had a Pfizer jab this morning.

Lovely picture Kaily. I love picture of sunsets, especially when the sun is setting behind trees.

How now brown Sao, to riff off the ancient Elocution Exercise. Good you see youse. In your accidental honor, Dinner tonight is fresh Mussels being picked up right now by MesaMate, and toasted Garlic Naan Bread made by moi at sufficient strength to ward off all Vampires. Thanks, Mags, for the thought-provoker.

I gravitated straight away toward the Absolutism of walking away from Booze forever. Yah, it's really daunting initially, but it provided me a simple, Internal Yardstick against which to measure. No one was holding my Jaws open with Pliers, and pouring it down my Throat. So, if I somehow mustered up the resolve to never waver, it would all work out. It did. Along the proverbial Bell Curve of Drunks, Absolutism is genetically where I fit. After all, I figgered my approach only had to work for one Person: me. As it had for others over Centuries.

It's probably a good thing I was Stone Cold Sober yesterday when my Shoe caught, and I took a Header off our macho Treadmill. What a Dope. What a Maroon. I scraped up my left Hand and Arm *some*, but lived to tell about it after stemming the Blood flow. Today is no biggie. NOW, I guess I'll start wearing the Safely Clip on my Clothes that - when pulled loose - turns off Treadmill power pronto.

In more promising Health News, I got an e.mail yesterday to book my 2 Pfizer CV-19 Jabs on-line set for 3 Weeks apart. I'll be all ready for Safe Socializing before the end of March. MesaPup carries on weekly Training Class outside for a Month past that. So, in late April, we can kinda resume Life As We Used To Know It. Way too many Gomers here in Redneck Nation refuse to Mask-up, so I'll carry on with wearing my Mask while doing the Hand Sanitizing gig after a Grocery Shop. Meanwhile, I'm gonna double the Solar Panels on the RV Trailer, and we'll be ready for even more comfy living off-Grid come May, and beyond.

Some nice Spring Weather on tap here. Life with 0.0 BAC is perpetually good! Highly recommended...

I'm in for this, and every, weekend.

Yes, the rewards for living a sober life are many. But the one I like best is due to practicing gratitude every day - it's finding joy in so many things.

Goodness, it sounds like there’s been a few trips and falls recently, Mesa, Mags, Bim. I hope you’re all on the mend quickly.

Lovely to see you Sao

Kaily I’ll have a look for Jonathan again soon, but it’s raining at the moment so I might leave it until the weather fines up to go visit him. I had planned some beach time this weekend, but it looks like rain and thunderstorms all weekend, so I might start a new jigsaw puzzle instead

Just like every weekend - always sober. I think back to how I used to live and it horrifies me. So glad those days are gone and never coming back.

Pleased you’re ok MesaMan. What a view! You can see for miles.

Bim how’s your foot? Hope it’s healing well.

Willow wow! Rain? That’s pretty good I imagine.
I hope PJ got some too, he’s been melting (metaphorically) in the heat.

Just woke up from an awful dream. Takes a minute to realise it’s just a dream.

Just seen Alice Cooper on morning gmb. He’s been sober of drugs and alcohol for 38 years. Says he wouldn’t be alive now if he hadn’t stopped.

Welcome RUL, some good plans you have there. What dog do you have?

Well done Alice Cooper!

I have just seen that Lady Gaga's dog walker was shot and the dogs stolen. Dog theft is big business now, dogs getting stolen everyday. I fear mine being snatched from me while out walking or being stolen from home.

Going to be a lovely day here again although we had a overnight frost. Makes the world seem a brighter place when the sun shines.

I saw about her dogs on the news too Kaily. I think the dog Walker is recovering in hospital. It’s fearful how people are stealing dogs. I wonder if there is a scanner/radar you can put in our pets, a bit like the chips we have in them.

You can put trackers on them but not in them. Thief would just take it off. Last week a local dog walkers van was stolen along with three dogs in it. They later dumped the van with one of the dogs (older dog, no value) another was found in Kent a few days later and the third is still missing. It's a daily thing now.

That’s a shame about trackers. I’m sure they’re something that would benefit pet owners though I imagine thieves would find a way round it.

Morning Weekenders!

What a glorious day outside. Washing is in the machine and soon to be hung outside to dry. Then I'm heading out for a few hours.

Mags, good to hear that Alice Cooper has been able to maintain sobriety. He first got sober in 1977 after years of hard living but then lapsed in 1980 following just one sip of a glass of wine his wife was drinking. It took him another three years, and his wife walking out on him, for him to find lasting sobriety.
