Mags, I didn’t see the beginning of the altercation between the crows and the eagle - just saw the eagle flying off with the noisy crows in hot pursuit. I imagine that the eagle was only there to fish, as well.

Leigh, a sparrow hawk sits on our fence post sometimes, to catch the smaller birds.......A quick story of when my hubby was coarse fishing, a sparrow was being chased by a sparrow hawk and it flew into hubby’s bivvy (fishing tent) whilst the sparrow hawk hovered above. Eventually the hawk flew away, for the little sparrow to fight another day.
