My sister brought me a big box of Scots Clan sweets last week. I relapsed on the sweets last night with Netflix and am feeling the tummy swell this morning. Everything nice is addictive

Yea, I like ice cream, all types. I try to moderate, but when I scoop a bowl, I always seem to scoop too much. Funny, when i was drinking I avioded the stuff. I'd take the kids to the local shop for ice cream & watch them eat. Didn't want to fill my tummy so I could drink when we got home.
Think I'll have ice cream tonght though, today is my third sober belly button birthday.

Vinny I dreamt about salty caramel dark chocolate last night after seeing your scots clan chocolate pic... I think I’ll have to go and find some... I too crave more sweet stuff since I stopped drinking, including icecream! Icecream is my big guns defence when the AV gets too intense. It really stops the cravings. Dragon I used to avoid icecream when I was drinking for the same reason, it interfered with my drinking. Now it’s my best last resort defence when I’m feeling vulnerable or battered down from battling the AV. Or when I just want a sweet treat
