Good morning! Talk about crazy dreams. I had a dream I was dating Zach from Little People Big World and he was holding me hostage. This was terrifying because the only 2 things I am afraid of are little people and clowns.

*My* dream last night was that Marty and I were baking Christmas cookies at her house. We ended up having thousands and thousands of cookies that were arranged on an endless stream of card tables.
I don't remember the rest of the dream, but maybe it was that we somehow fed the Weekenders!

Trach - good luck with the interview, you'll do great. My best thoughts will be with you.
LB - when you said you had a landscaping project I didn't realise the scale of it! This is some proper stuff, it's making me tired to look at it. Here at the PL's my wife is the one with the brains in this area, I am basically in the business of carrying the heavy stuff and being told off for messing things up (I can plaster though, but that's about it!)
About three hours to leave work, first time AV is really talking this week but he doesn't stand a chance! I ll treat myself to a curry instead!

Morning all. My 3yo has a stomach flu. Vomiting, fever, aches, sore throat, the works. Made for a long night last night. Thinking about napping at my desk!
Raining cats and dogs here today. Supposed to carry over into the weekend. Kinda fits my mood. I'm not sad, really, just feeling pretty subdued right now. I think work's got me down a bit.
Brain, the repair looks terrific. I'm glad you didn't have to dig the whole pipe out, or do any "exploratory surgery."
Brynn, wow. You're an inspiration.

MLD/Ven, if you dream of a skinny lawyer arguing in a foreign language in front of a court comprised of stuffed animals, lobstermen and giant goldfish, just keep it to yourselves.

You guys are great. Brynn, that is so kind. And I'm Ebeneezer Scrooge much of the time which is why Mecanix' post and Marley's chains hit home. I think care packages is a great idea. Grassroots efforts help.

Clouds around from a Front sweeping through, so that makes for some nice Skies 'round here...
In a reasonably-smooth Process, I got our new HD TV mounted on the high Eave point of the House where it can see Signal fo evah. Any Day you don't fall off the Roof is a good Day. It's fun to finally see some local News and Weather that's not all Big City Slick. From various 'Repeater' Transmitter Towers, we now have - count 'em - 3 PBS Feeds to pick from; one in Spanish. Probably the biggest unexpected plus was to now receive Me TV; all Reruns from my Wasted Youth. The Twilight Zone is on at 22:30 or so, and I'll have to find a way to stay up for that.
I did have a weird, uncharacteristic Drinking Dream a few Nights back. However, even in it, I was chastising myself for 'weighing' how many Shots I could throw down w/o losing it. The Good News was that my AV wasn't getting away with anything; even in my Dreams. A much better Dream would be to sample Weekender Gal Cookies while in lounging in my Sean Connery Fur_kini. I'll work on summoning up that Dream...
In Marital Scheduling that just happened, MesaMate's away to a Chick Lunch today while I head to The Big City for miss_ca_lane_ious parts for the Trailer Solar Project. About a Week until I launch solo w/MesaDog. Light Snow just fell on Pikes Peak, so I gotta be able to run the Trailer Heater Fan from well-charged Batteries if I'm not gonna affect my delicate Physique.
