It's nice going to bed sober instead of wobbly.

I woke up to the sound of my foster bunny scrabbling on the bathroom door to be let out and fed. So I got up and fed her, checked on the babies, opened a few doors to let her run around and went back to bed.

Then I woke up again and have been having breakfast and internetting. I really need to clean my house.

I love Nurse Jackie. Huge fan. I have finished all the seasons now though. I will probably watch them all again soon.

heater on hot tub checked out... I thought I didn't hear it running for the last couple days... good thing we got it working because she absolutely insisted - and doesn't use it... going down to the teens all next week... I doubt I'll be able to get hold of the spa folks tomorrow...

if this thing freezes it's all over... I think a small fountain and sitting area with a little flower garden would fit in that space... it's what I wanted to do last year... 2000 bucks down the drain - two house payments...

funny how I used to compare the cost of things against a case of beer... now it's house payments...

note to self - make sure the cutting disc is oriented properly BEFORE jamming the grinder with meat. Doesn't work well with cutter backwards... I noticed the spa issue before I grounded the meat, I lost my inspiration to make sausage tonight...

listening to packers seeming to take a game away from cardinals...

My volunteer work lasted into the evening and I didn't get home til 8pm. I am exhausted but I feel that I did some good for two people. It certainly gets me out of my head and it makes me feel good. Like I've done something meaningful.
Brynn. ..I'm with you 100% regarding the tv in the bedroom. It's heavenly. And all three of my dogs fit on my bed with me. I'd love to get a larger tv for my bedroom.
Ok...I'm pooped-see you all later.

Venecia. ..you have me thinking about the Revenant now. Not sure if I want to sit through 2.5 hours of that.

I'm sad. The Packers are done for the season. They just lost a crazy game in overtime.

Hey everyone! Tetra, that stinks but good sticking up for yourself.

MLD, do you have fingernails left after that Green Bay game? How exciting! I'm sorry Packers lost. I was hoping.

Kids in bed. Mr Ruby gone for the week for work. I'm relaxing and heading to bed. I just put a TV in my bedroom but I don't often watch it. Enjoy, ken!

My fingernails are gone. I didn't really expect them to win this game, but they seemed to be hanging in there, so I started to get hopeful. What a nutso game.

Oh, M, I saw the Revenant this afternoon. I was completely, mentally exhausted afterwards. Cinematography was beautiful, though.

I can't decide if I liked it or not. It was a difficult movie to sit through, but it was well done and I'm still thinking about it.

Totally agree with you. I think I will put it in the category of glad I saw it.

My friend was convinced that it was a new version of Jeremiah Johnson. I tried many times to explain to him that it most definitely was not going to be that.

Uh, yeah. Definitely not Jeremiah Johnson. No friendly bear and good-natured mountain man.

This should be a greeting card us Weekenders give each other..

'Sorry you had that family weirdness'

SO much of our stuff and stress comes from our weird families. But not from us. We are perfect princes and princesses
