This made me laugh.

Ha. I just thought of what my mother would say about those bundles. She was anti-everything remotely spiritual/New Age, but crazy-nostalgic for the old days.

Melina....at least you have an excuse not to cook. I've got nothing. Last nights dinner was a Butterfinger and a half-ripe pear. Ridiculous.
I had 320 goldfish crackers and a pint of ice cream. Samesies!

If I hadn't cried it all out earlier, I'd be a-cryin' again, Mesa. Lol. That was a tearjerker for sure.

So interesting... at the end, it was like he incorporated the sounds of mourning women, reminds me of something very Native American, or other indigenous mourning and funeral dirge sounds come to mind.

A bag of goldfish is one serving, right?

Okay, here's something.

My across the hall neighbor is going away for Christmas and I volunteered to take care of her cat. We aren't "friends." She's lived there for about a year. After I said I'd do it, I remembered: The previous tenant died in his bed with a needle in his arm. She (this new tenant) doesn't know this, and I told the owner I wouldn't tell her - it's really none of my business. But. The death and the police and the whole event are still there in the back of my mind. So I'm going to smudge the apartment while she's gone. . .I know. I smudged my condo and the entire stairwell the day after the heroin guy died. I urged him to move on. I believe he did, I don't get any residual energy from it. But our two units share a wall, an attic space, etcetera, so there is a shared energy of sorts.

I'm not telling her I did it. MM, I think I'll be glad these units aren't airtight, so the aroma will fade. I hope. :-/

I know. woowoo. I'm doing it anyway.

Hey everyone! I'd love to see the elf and snowman rumble. Hah!

Sorta kinda blond. Especially when I've been out in the sun. Naturally, I'd be white but since I started that when I was 18, I've been coloring since I was 26.

Went to an AA holiday party last night. Meeting this morning. Did the last of my gift buying today. Hanging out at home cleaning.

My tree is a bust this year. Super dry and dropping needles everywhere. I tried to ensure against that when I bought it but I guess my method wasn't very good. I may skip putting lights on this year. I think the warm weather contributed to crispy trees on tree lots.

Back to clearing junk. Soberpotamus, sad story. Hard to lose someone you care about like that.

Olive, it's a rough start. I wear my hair short, so that made it easier. I have not dyed it in years. The back is darker than the front, and I wish it would catch up a bit.

Jeff's voice is amazing. Prince is one badazz guitarist. Probably one of the best of all time? I like it when Tom Petty laughs/smiles at Prince. And that young guy ... looks like George Harrison. I googled, and sure enough, it's his offspring.

I hope my story was more uplifting than sad. Reading back over it, I guess it does seem very sad. But he was a good friend, and he inspired me and believed in my writing, very early on. He was a good influence (apart from the drinking, of course). I have many great memories of us during that time. Many more good memories that triumph over the loss of his life. He lived a very exciting life. I am thankful I knew him.

SP, that was a great video of "Guitar Gently Weeps."

@ Prince, though. That would totally be me if I was in the music biz. All about me, louder, more flamboyant, mememe, sexy overtones, mischievous grin, dressed to the nines. Falls into the pit, throws the guitar. Love.
