Incredible support from SR friends - obviously you mean so much to others. Get back on the sober train...... Find your way. Sometimes it takes folks longer than others - me too!

Don't beat yourself up, but make some changes. For me that was finally seeking outside help.

Glad your posting!

I am another that says don't go. You do help newcomers and coming here helps you as well.

And yes, you are honest, and that is very important in recovery. Many of us have our ups and downs. I truly believe that you can do this, because you do do it. I will never judge you.

Everyone's journey is different and everyone takes a different path and even if you relapse you learn something from it. You will find your mojo, I just know you will .

Hi Patman. I've been absent from posting for a while because of my own difficulties...but reading your post - I had to come back into 'the fold'. You helped me too when I joined in February, and I haven't forgotten that...

Cant you say something about how you're feeling right now...? Maybe you could try doing this on private messages to some here that you already know well? - at least as a start...but let us know here on the main thread how you are doing please - cos we (i) care. Please talk more about what has happened somehow. It may help...

G'day ThePatMan! I've been at work today, and came home to see your post. I hope right now you're in bed and dreaming of something nice and comforting, like a large polar bear stuffed with people from SR taking down the Hulk.

The Hulk is the one who gets drunk, so he can't be that strong in a fight. He's probably fallen over and spewed up by now.

Obviously you're a popular person on here and that's because you're a massive help to others, including me. I'm always looking for your name in threads.

So rest up and start your next day knowing that you will never drink again.

I'm seeing this late, Pat... so sorry about your pain and frustration. Please don't let the "Hulk" erase you from the front line. It's just a fantasy. You need you in one piece, and your friends here do, too.

Wear your recovery coat of amore from
head to toe and be ready to defend your
life each and every day. Sword full of recovery
tools and knowledge to slash anything that
stands in your way happiness, healthiness
and honesty.

Life is made up of good and bad people,
places and things that can cause stress,
unhappiness, toxins etc., however with
your recovery suit of armor you wear
daily, you can ward them off one by one.

Are you ready to stand tall, strong with
willingness, openmindedness for you life
and sobriety?

Im for TEAM SR.

Add me to the list of people that care Pat. I've been on this forum 1.5 years, you were one of the guys who was there to help me in my darkest hour. You were among the people who helped me succeed. I doubt I can share any pearls of wisdom you are unaware of, but I'd just like to ask you to stick around and keep talking.
