Melki - CONGRATS ON 9 MONTHS!

MBlue, sorry to hear about your bout with the pox. Hope you get well soon.

Weasel - enjoy the symphony, I have a feeling this won't be your last.

Srategery, I'm not sure of the story behind that bus photo you posted. But I hope it has a happy ending.

Welcome aboard Little Bear. We will be with you all the way.

HI, friends.

Someone mentioned party hats at the end of Part 1 of the last thread.

Ya'll are royalty in my mind...

These are actually pretty cute, made of felt. From iCrownYou on etsy.

Nothing like a festive birthday party to rejuvenate that childlike joy. (I know, that was a stretch, just playing along.)

Thank you all for kind words and healing vibes.

It's a mild case, bu still sucks a lot. The first two days the rush was unbearable and kept me awake till the dawn. And fever was bad.

But not it's better. Though I have no idea when my skin will recover from all these pox.

i had chicken pox as an adult when my daughter caught them at camp...i was miserable, they were severe. The day before my spots broke out, i vividly remember how badly my legs just ACHED, it hurt to even walk, it was mid summer.

I hope that you feel better soon, benydril and calamine lotion.

I had chicken pox for the first time at age 24. It was miserable. I missed two weeks of work. At the time my BF was in the medical field. He got me some strong tranquilizers and I mostly slept.

When you get them as an adult, the silver lining is that everyone you know calls their Mom to see if they've had them.

Feel better, MBlue.

Hello gang!

Rejuvenation, great topic. I have been thinking about some professional rejuvenation recently and over the past month the thoughts have been getting louder. I like my job, and the opportunity to work digitally from a foreign country is all I could ask for. However, I didn't come to Central America to be tied to a home office 5 days per week...the eventual plan is to get into the travel and tourism industry and be out and about exploring and setting people up for memorable experiences. I have finally started looking around and see that an Adventure Company is hiring down here. However, the pay isn't that good and it's very "rugged" stuff like camping out on a volcano for 3 days, etc. I'm not sure that's what I had in mind.

For now I will sit tight but the wheels are turning. Another great part about being sober the ability to be patient and wait for things I want. Create my own opportunities. Don't rush and don't throw away a bird in the hand. I think I will get this weekend's rejuvenation up on my terrace working on some new rooftop garden strategies! Ring ring!

Bimini, I love the party crowns. I want one now so maybe I can sit in my Ruby tower, bedecked with felt raiment.

Non, I have the feeling you will be getting incrementally busier as tax day draws nearer. Hang in there.

BigS, maybe you can start small on weekends towards your goal. It's great to have a goal.

My goal is to actually plan and go on a vacation this summer.

BigS, that is one reason I was looking for work in the vegas, southwest area. There are several adventure types industries. Colorado River, hiking throughout the area. It might not pay a lot but getting paid to do something rather than paying to do it would be like doubling the money.

Hope it's ok if I hop on the bus :-)

Weasel, I had a ticket for p. Symphony about 6 weeks ago but couldn't go due to snow :-(. I hope to get season ticket if I can afford it. I hear they are really good!

Hey Ruby...I see you're wanting to plan a vacation for the summer.

Just a thought for you, I'm staying in a cabin this summer for a week in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee. They're called Cabins of the Smoky Mountains and there's tons of stuff to do all around the area.

sorry patman, didn't mean to bring you down...

well, there's always this for a change of pace. This is going to be the epilogue of my musical. I doubt I'll ever get the rights to the music I want to use...

if everyone on this thread would invest a hundred grand...

maybe "Dreams" was a more appropriate Rush tune...
