One thing that new comers to AA need to understand is that service work is one of the 3 legs of sobriety and giving people rides to meetings is service work. It is highly likely there is someone in AA in your area that has a car. See if your regional AA office can help or just get to a meeting however you can and ask at the beginning of the meeting for help. If you can afford it pitch in for gas but people are happy to drive out of their way to get you to a meeting. I have given rides to people for three years and it makes me feel good to help someone in recovery.

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. It has been a while since my last post and I wanted to check in. The Saturday I will be 10 weeks sober and I feel much better for it. I know that I want my life to be this way now, and I've noticed that I naturally avoid it now without a second thought. How is everyone?
