Went out back to check, but all I saw was a garden hose and a salamander. There is a serious lack of BK franchises in the Mojave. If I recall correctly, there is an Outback Steakhouse in the next county.

Don't know what's in the burgers.

But, Dee, that wouldn't make sense anyways. Over there, it'd have to be a overpriced, cheesy American restaurant based on stereotypes and campy knickknacks/tourist memorabilia plastered all over the walls at random angles to represent how us Americans 'really' live and what we 'really' eat/drink/wear. Do y'all have one of those?

Burger King doesn't count. Too easy...

MickeyD's doesn't really count either - they both go out of their way to be 'Aussie' here.
Johnny Rockets is pretty cheesy tho.......LOL

Ok, I'll bite. What are BK and McDs like in Australia ? or Spain for that matter...
I know in England they sell beer at them. I dont think that would be a good idea in the US.
Is there an Outback Burger or something ??? lol

Ive never actually eaten fast food in other countries except Canada.
No, wait, when I was in Holland I ate something that looked like a breakfast burrito that had mutton (I think) in it. It didnt settle so well. I think I will stick w the falafel.
I never did figure out what kinds of food was local fare when I was there.....
I spent tooo much time in the coffee shops.....

Johnny Rockets is cheesy here too... and ridiculously overpriced because it's in *malls*. (awaits applause for being in malls...)

I'm with frstnm: How are BK/McD's "Aussie" in Australia? I'm having trouble even thinking of those joints as "American" except I got Jay Leno saying "fatasses" on steady loop...

Only foreign country I ever ate in was Canada. Yeah, I'm not much of a world traveler. Half the time used a Visa to cross the border anyways... hey, I wasn't driving.

The Burger Kings(Hungry Jacks here for trademark reasons) and McDs look much the same to me from what I've seen on TV and the like - they're big on '100% aussie beef' and things like that tho...very keen to stress they're 'Aussie'.

they have a mcOz (or did when I used to eat there back in the hangover days) basically a big mac with beetroot LOL

I haven't had the committee in my head thing for a long time, frst so, - do what works and apply liberally....hit those meetings man

I guess I will have to google Johnny Rockets
Whats a beetroot ?
I got to a meeting last night and will be going again tonight. It does help to shut the committee up for a while anyway

I rely on you folks to provide the jokes.
It helps me and my jokes are no good anyway. (not good for mixed audiences)
