A tired and weary Wes is here this evening. Been working myself to the bone a lot here lately. That's why I haven't been around much. But overall feeling pretty good. Glad I got some time to get on here tonight instead of having to get that shower and go straight to bed.
Glad to see you enjoyed your trip Hardwired. Good being able to go on vacation and have a good time without the booze huh? Glad to see you back, too, and doing great. Congrats on 53 days man!

According to the sobertime calculator I have 41 days today. I'm grateful for my sober time, just wish I felt better today. Anxious and depressed, tho it would be a lot worse if I were drinking.

Wes is finally here for roll call again. Wanted to say hello to all of the Class of February. I've been busy, busy, busy...so haven't had as much time to be around here as I'd like. I really miss the place a lot. Staying sober and today is day 57 for me. Just a few days behind ya Hardwired. Congrats on two months bro!!! Hope all are doing well. I miss ya all and hope to start being around more often.

Hi all,
I think today is day 36. I will have to check my calendar. My goal was to quit for 30 days, but I am just taking it day by day and have not felt like drinking. Sometimes the thought of having a beer or a drink sounds good, but then I think of all the negative affects that it has on the body and it just does not seem worth it at this time. It's amazing how much weight I have lost in my stomach. The thought of putting in all of those empty calories seems like such a waste.

and I am not overweight at all. 5'11and now 184lbs.
It's funny because I was on a hard core diet when I was drinking and kept 190 or above. now I can eat anything and I'm losing weight.
I'll take that trade!!!

Wes is here for day 58. Thought I'd come check in here for a few minutes and see how everyone is doing before I get back to work and get busy again. Hope all is well. Thinking of and praying for everyone. Keep up the good work everyone! We can do this together!

I think it's day 37, feels good. I just splurged on candy and chocolat pudding (AGAIN) but I'm doing much better with the sweets I can go almost two days without...gee, that reminds me of my drinking habits, seems there is a pattern here. Anyway what I don't understand are my headaches, nagging headaches almost every morning. I hope it goes away soon!
Glad to see that we're still a certain number here, I had planned to count how many started in February, never got that far, oh well so much for projects....
