Day 34 here today...thought I'd stop by and say hey to the Class of Feb. since I haven't been by in a couple days. Hope everyone is doing okay and all.

Hey all, And sober tidings to ya. 39 days for me and it feels like I'm a veteran.
Haven't been in lately, very busy leaving this weekend to Guadalajara Mexico to meet my wifes family for the first time.

Guadalajara huh Hardwired? That's where my ex-wife is from. If you see her tell her I said good riddance please. lol Let me know if you need me to translate because she don't speak english and won't know what you said if you tell her in english. lol Guadalajara is the only place in Mexico I won't visit because I know she went back home there after she divorced me. lol Well, hope you get to enjoy your trip brother!

My wifes family actually has a big rancho about 40 mi outside Guadalajara.
so I won't be much in the city. I do speak pretty good Spanish far from fluent but I can get my point across.

Just don't eat that worm bro....j/k...Well, I'm sure you'll make it through just fine without drinking. When my wife and I were together you wouldn't believe how much tequila we kept in the house for me, her and her family. But, when I wouldn't drink (because I always liked drinking alone and never with people) they didn't think anything of it. But, have a great time and enjoy it sober and come back and let us know all how good the trip was.

Wes is here for roll call. Was at my first meeting last night since pulling off 30 days and got my one month chip. Today is day 35 so I'm right there behind ya Hardwired of making not drinking a habit.

Yes it is...it was so totally awesome bro. And getting it makes me want to work hard towards getting that three month chip. It helps keep me motivated and helps me remember what I'm working so hard for.
