Least, I hope walking the dogs help. We are all here for you and care very much about you. Do anything and everything you can to avoid that bottle. You know exactly what will happen. Yeah, you may feel good for the moment, forget all worries and anxieties for a couple hours. Then you sober up, realize the some sh*t is still there plus the feelings of regret and letting yourself down for letting it get to you to the point of going back to the bottle.

Forget the bottle. Yeah life is a big pile of crap at times, but if we stick together we can pull through. Find a friend, someone you are very close to that you can talk to, that you can rant, rave, cuss, scream, cry to that will help you get it all out in a way that you won't regret. I'm sure if you do it that way you'll feel much better in the long run. We all <3 you Least and care a lot about you. We want to see you succeed and will do anything we can do to help you out the best we can and know how. Please remember we're all here for you and rooting for you. I have faith that you can make it through these hard times. I'm keeping you in thought and prayers.

Thank you so much. Please keep me in your prayers as I've lost contact with the God I grew up with. seems he's ignoring me or just given up or just doesn't care anymore. The dog walk helped the dogs, but I still feel sh!tty and horrible. Wondering what's the point? Don't see my place in this world and don't see that I make any difference. I walked the dogs cause I love my dogs, but I don't love me.

Least,

Someone once said to me "let us love you until you can love yourself." I thought it was a pretty absurd statement at the time. But it did work for me. We love you. We see the worth in you, even if you don't at this time. I posted something for you on the Anxiety boards. Please check it out.

I still think if you were able to do some volunteer work it would help you. Someone mentioned something about dog walking for the humane society. Can you give them a call and see what's available? Volunteering helped me a lot! It gave my days some structure and gave me a sense of worth.

You have a lot of support and love on these boards.

Love,

Lenina

Least, even if you don't see your place and importance, we do. You are very important to all of us and we see you as a wonderful and beautiful person that definitely has a place. A lot of us look up to you and all of us enjoy having you around.

Feelings come and go. Wait these ones out and eventually good has to come sometime, somewhere. We will definitely pray for you and give you all the love and support you can stand and then a little more.

Can't believe it! 2 weeks today, yeah!

Fell and broke my fall with my right hand on the HOT wood stove last night....ouch! No work for me for at least 5 days .... Oh well at least I'm sober and did this sober (usually I'd be drunk)...!

Want to wish the Class of February a very good, pleasant and sober night. Enjoy your evening/night the best you can and pleasant dreams.

Congratulations on two weeks Nicki!!! You're awesome and a absolutely wonderful person! Take care of the hand and I hope it feels better soon. My shoulders are a bit tense, a massage might help your hand out some...lol...just kidding. Hope it gets back to normal soon.

Have a great sober night all!

Hey Class of February! Haven't checked in a week or so. Well, it is now March. Some of us are rolling past the one month mark, and others are getting closer by the day! I know 1 month seemed so far away when we first started. For those who have already reached 30 days, I want to extend a heart felt Congratulations! And for those inching up on their 1 month, it'll be here before you know it! Stick with it because the feeling is worth it. If you are anything like me, the thought of going a day or two without alcohol was unimaginable, and just to know that I made it to 1 month gives me the confidence to believe that I really can do this! I hope you all have a positive and sober day!

1 MONTH TODAY FOR ME AND FOR WES!
CONGRATS BUDDY!

20 days today. Still dealing with awful anxiety. Shrink increased my anti anxiety meds and I've got new scrips waiting for me to pick up and have filled. Barely slept last night, was up and down most of the night. Now I'm exhausted.

Ya know...I just noticed my name on here "CoF1984" the CoF could be for "Class of February"...just noticed that. Guess I haven't paid much attention before because the "CoF" in my name stands for one of my favorite bands...Cradle of Filth. hmm...something strange I just noticed and thought of.

Anyways, just wanted to tell the Class of February to have a good sober night! I hope you all get a good rest tonight and pleasant dreams!

Hey GOOOOOOOD MORNING Class lets have a fun and sober day.

The days note: You have to feel to heal

before recovery I used just about everything to escape my feelings, drugs, alcohol, food, TV anything that would make me forget about my real feelings.

Today I have come to welcome my feelings rather than run from them. Today I use my feelings as little guides that lead me to the depths of who I AM.

Today I know that, to feel is to heal!!!

TODAY I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY FEELINGS

NICKI.........
let us shower you in love, acceptance and support!!!

:ghug3
Let's say this together.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
( and the rest of it no one knows)
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Hardwire, thanks for the quote: You have to feel to heal.

At a gathering last night, I noticed that when someone was giving a testimony that was very emotional, I started to panic and felt the need to change the topic to a more positive note.

Last night, as I was going over my actions and feelings, I realized that I do this because "feeling" is very, very scary to me.

I'm working on this...
