Hi guys! Yup, there with FW.
I am going to my Grand Sponsor's house on Sunday afternoon for a party.
It should be fun, I have never been to an all sober party before!

day 113

Had a wee peek in that Bottoms thingy thread.

Think I'm far too serious to be posting there though !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you'se all

Where are you'se all

I Know, Horsies got you all shovelling the crap out her stables ain't she.

Can't be a month since she had us doing it last month.

Presume I'm not invited after the incident with her pet Lama !!!!

I apologised for goodness sake, what more do you want Horsie, blood.

Actually not really bothered, ruined my good trainers there last time, got it all embedded in the sole, then treaded it all through the house, hired a steam cleaner and everything but the maid still couldn't get the carpet clean.

You'se all have fun, enjoy Horsies buffet she lays on, she was a bit mean last time I thought, one tiny wee bit of ham per sarnie, cut into wee triangles as well so it looks more, think she buys the buns that are nearly out of date as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone

Fizzy's baaaaaaaaaack!! Yeah Fizzy! Its good to see you and your sense of humor returning. I am actually not shoveling stalls this weekend. Celebrating my birthday tomorrow, even though it was this past Wednesday. Husband is cooking ribs, corn on the cob, salt potatoes, and some crusty bread. Think that's enough carbs?? Got to live a little and since I can't have any drink on my birthday I have to find my bliss in other ways. New way of life!

Started the stinking thinking this week. "Maybe I could have just one once in awhile." Hated myself for even thinking it, but the thought passed at least this time.

Day 113 and HIRED!

Yesterday the manager called me and offered me the position! Woooo Hoooo! And I took it. The pay is lower than I wanted, but I am thrilled to be returning to my old workplace. I'm already vested in the retirement system, so that is great. Only 20 more years to go! (LOL!)

We were going to celebrate by going on a road trip today, but all through the night I had fever and chills, and now my head is killing me, and my neck is very stiff. There has been a bad virus going around.

So I'm staying home and resting today, and we are going to try for tomorrow instead.

I start working on Tuesday morning. It will be a hour long commute each way, but I'm very ok with that. I will ride public transportation, and read, snooze, and people watch.

Horse...please be careful with those types of thoughts. They have brought me down before, and I'm not going to let it happen again. I now know, down to the bottom of my toes, that I will never be able to have "just one or two" or ever be able to control it. I've tried and tried. While relapsing, and then after having long breaks in between, and then end result is always the same. I get right to where I left off, and go down harder and faster. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Don't go with the dangerous thoughts Horsie, you know better.

Bad enough you've got Cm,TT,Least,Boston and Log laid up after eating your dodgy sarnies without you geting muller'd on us as well.

Log's being polite and saying its a virus but you've been told about buying the stale buns before. At least Logs made it to the computer, heaven knows where the rest of them are.

We're trying to keep a thread going here for goodness sake !!!!!!!!!!

Great news on the job front Log, take it easy and get well again soon.

Happy 21st/30th/40th/50th ????? (delete as appropraite) Horsie, enjoy your meal.

Funny recently I've not even had thoughts to have a couple of drinks, sure I will sometime though, you know I'll kick your ass if you do though don't you.

I know its rude to ask a lady's age as well !!!!!!!!!

Fizzy rude ? surely not - I prefer slightly cheeky perhaps !!!!!!!!!!

Footie team got beat again today - boo

Daughter won't eat, apart from chocolate and cheese - boo

Don't have to work tomorrow though - yipee

Kids are both sleeping now - yipee

Safe and sober folks, safe and sober, Saturday night, nice and quiet.

Big congrats Least, 7 weeks is fantastic.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I always think of you from when I was first in the 2 week and under thread.

You seemed to be like the person in Snakes and Ladders that always lands on a snake and gets punted back to the start. It was always 5 days here, a week there then back to the start you'd go.

Really glad to see you've finally started missing the snakes and hitting some ladders, hope your really proud of yourself.

You're making some great progress.

I really think that the first few weeks are the toughest, once you get to where you are now its a case of guarding against complacency more than anything.

I have to keep reminding myself of where I've come from and the reasons I don't want to go back there.

You fancy the chocolate and cheese diet do you log ?

Think I might patent it !!!!!!!

Wee lass is a nightmare at eating though.

We can't get near the fridge, I swear she can smell someone even thinking about opening it, then through she runs trying to get at the cheese.

Now there's a thought, maybe she's not looking for cheese, maybe she's checking daddy's not sneaking a beer, funny thing is theres 2 cans of beer in there which have been there for months now, they must be thinking what, whats wrong with us, used to always be plenty of us in here, then 3 left for ages, then my father in law had one and these poor 2 have well and truely been left on the shelf so to speak.

OK another thought actually, we have one of those big American style fridges with the big double doors and water and ice thingy built in. Now as I've described it, over here we would call it an American style fridge, now what would you'se American folky's call it, you surely can't call it an American style fridge in America can you ?????????

Na, you can't, that would be stupid, maybe you all have really small fridges and talk about having European style fridges, now that would be cool !!!!!!!!
