Day 13
Hi Everyone, Hurray I'm finally on the forum. I'm not going to be superstitious about day 13 and the site having problems either. LOL You guys know how i am with the #13.
I tried going on the emergency site an hour ago, but it didn't recognize my password for some reason. Oh well. At least this one is back up. Just can't click the thank you button yet.
Not going to write a lot. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still sober.

Hi everyone, well i made it to 2 weeks.
I don't know if the forum is acting up or not today. I just got on, so far so good. I see we don't have the thank buttons working yet. As long as we can come on that's all that matters to me.
I just learned something new on my computer today. I wanted to put my journal on a disc. It took a while to do, but i finally figured it out. My husband helped me out. He's always downloading music for Cd's for work. Well that's all for now. Hope everyone's doing well today.
I forgot to put Day 14 at the top. Too late now.

Day 15
Hi everyone, got up real early again today. The contractor came to measure our windows. And he was on time. Imagine that. So in 3 weeks we'll have our new windows.
I just saw on the computer an advertisement on the AA site. I thought AA wasn't supposed too because of tradition 11. I never saw them on my local TV. They don't even have an ad in our local paper. Al-anon does and some other 12 step groups but not AA. Maybe I don't understand tradition 11 right.
I'm having a good day so far. I hope it stays that way. It's a lot easier on the brain. LOL

Day 16
Hi Everyone, feeling really grumpy and tired today. I don't feel like going to my meeting tonight. But I am. It's one of my favorite one's anyway.
I stay up too late last night which didn't help. I was trying to figure out my Adobe reader. It changed where they updated it. I like the one they had before it better. I can't figure out the stupid bookmark on this one. I'm using the new Adobe additions one instead. At least i can use the bookmark on that with my books.
I keep some of the big book chapters on there and some other AA literature. I also have some fun books like Dracula and War of the worlds on there.

Day 17
Hi everyone, I got to talk on the phone with my sponsor this afternoon. She's back from seeing her son and we were talking about the airplanes and how stressful they can be. I'll get to see her tomorrow night. Her home group is having a anniversary meeting with cake and a speaker. My husband is going to go too. He likes going to speaker meetings. Friday is when my sponsor is speaking. I must of had my days mixed up.
I also talked to my sister this afternoon and we talk about my niece. God, she's so much like me that its scary. I hope she doesn't grow up to be an alcoholic or drug addict. Or any of the other addictions.
I having a better day today and don't feel moody or depressed like yesterday. I'm glad of that. I hate not feeling good. Not necessarily happy, happy, but not depressed either. I guess content is how I feel today.

Day 18
Hi Everyone, I think I’m becoming more willing to want to talk to God again. I was really interested in finding the step 1 prayer in the big book today. I’m still not ready to trust him yet. But maybe someday. I’m still afraid to do step 3, but I have a start maybe for step 2 when I’m ready. I’m starting to want to try again with praying. Just simple things, but that’s a start too. It’s got to be more then just Brian dieing to make me want to shy away from him. I don’t know what it is yet.
Tonight my sponsor gets her 29 year medallion. I’m going to go tonight. Her group is also celebrating their anniversary and theirs a speaker tonight with cake. I’ll write more latter about it. That’s all for now till latter tonight.
