I really love Karen's idea of that letter. Big time. 
And love you very much dear Red and happy to see you. And yes, sometimes it takes that god-awful hangover to really say no more. I am done. I know that feeling and even though you feel awful right now, in a day or two you are going to have a big smile.
And thank you dear Karen and sorry I didn't end up texting again yesterday...I never got my nap. I got a migraine instead from the noise and paint smell. But the fact that I got your texts in the middle of this was really lovely. A smile in the middle of a crappy day.

venuscat / doing very well this morning a lazy morning for sure! it's just about to hit 10AM and we're just getting moving for the day, not sure what we have "planned" beyond staying around the house whether it's inside or outside... hohum...

My husband and I are pretty lucky in all of this. We both love doing our own thing for hours. He works on music a lot of the time and I have a zillion plants. So I always have a lot to do. Very grey and rainy here today. Actually feels good for some reason.

I've had a few days of feeling really down, out of sorts, sad, lost and frustrated. I'm so glad I didn't drink, really grateful down to my bones. I realize I've gotten completely away from practicing my daily recovery things, staying present, positive and connected to my higher power. I just let this depression run away with me. I'm back to being determined to keep recovery first. I'm so blessed in so many ways. It's nuts for me to live in fear and sadness. I know it's a choice and I'm choosing joy today.
Day 20 and going strong again!

Chrome. With the Duckduckgo plugin that blocks the ad tracking.
I did try to say to you earlier that the reno's won't go on forever and peaceful silence will return as the neighbours get the invoices for all that work, lol.
