Doing our best to help flatten the curve here and hoping the numbers come in better than the estimates over the next few weeks. PJ, I catch the headlines too and try not to watch too much news - it's crazy stressful.
Purps, that's a great little thank you post - awesome. I think there's a lot of things to be learned from this crisis.

A reasonable Sunday here - even with the new normal.
If you haven't checked in to say "Hi" in a little while (or a long while), now would be a great time to do that - nice to know that everyone is doing okay.

I was not so ok yesterday, but much better today. Just lots going on that I have had to deal with smell-wise in the house from my landlady redoing wooden floors, sick of the story to be honest....hopefully it won't be construction hell around here today.

Hey Purps and Venus. Glad you are both doing well.
We passed Evan over to his new family today. So we are happy/sad. They seem like a real nice family and he’ll get a chance to get even more attention!! We will miss the little guy.

Donating blood is a great and necessary thing - very nice, PJ. I've given a fair amount over time, but it's been a little while since I've done it - I'm not on any reminder list since we moved - On my own list now.
Feeling a little blah with all the social distancing - a little hard to get motivated in general. Tomorrow will be better, I'm sure

The moon was awesome here too! It’s cool and comforting knowing we’re all staring at the same moon.
My husband’s mother broke her back so we have been taking turns taking care of her. Not really any alternative to that and it scares us, but has to be done. She can’t be alone. We take all the precautions we can when with her, masks, hand sanitizer, but it’s still a little frightening.
Happy/sad for you, MITA. Fostering is hard, but glad you were there for Evan.
Sorry about your landlady and the smell, Suze. That sucks. Hope it gets better fast.

Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday. A few months ago we weren’t sure he’d see another birthday. I’m very grateful he’s here. We are doing a birthday parade down his street in the afternoon. It’s going to be cool.
Also, Nathan hit 70 days sober today. He’s doing great.

I donated to the Salvo's domestic violence homeless Easter appeal (I was homeless, they saved me in so many ways)
Time to ensure I was not Corona-ifed- 60m
that I was not carrying diseases- 30m of digital paperwork and blood tests/pressure
time to give just under 1L of blood- 9m.
the nurse was fascinated by me explaining I was an alcoholic in recovery- always, not recovered.
