The week is steaming ahead nicely, Dee.
That crucial bit of info- re crushed L1, has made a big diff. The pain is there, but to know it is real, not just imagined as I thought for all my years (less 9 years) is evident.

My little Greek neighbour went into dramatics at the isolation bit- and told me very dramatically- no more visitors for her, bucket of disinfectant outside, loud voiced phone calls (that could probably be heard streets away), washing fruit from friends in detergent- again outside for the show...

- now she has more visitors than ever- checking up on her...…

cute

Hey guys - hope all is well.<div><br></div><div>Interesting to read about your physical situation PJ - it's tough, but good at the same time? &nbsp;I guess that's my take.</div><div><br></div><div>Some ups and downs here - I'd be lying if I didn't admit to be having some hard days with all the different things shut down. &nbsp; Some of my best distractions are not available, and sometimes it just seems like "WTF, why not". &nbsp;I know why not, and now is not the time to be putting unhealthy things in my body.</div><div><br></div><div>I was planning on stopping work on June 30 - officially gave my notice and everything. &nbsp; With all the disruption in the world, they've asked me if I'd consider staying on a bit longer. &nbsp;I don't really have anything else to do, so I'll probably say okay but I'll need to re-gear my brain to stay engaged. &nbsp; Not complaining - I'm lucky to work for such a solid company.</div><div><br></div><div>Be good ...</div>

<div>Food for thought MITA</div><div><br></div><div>A local petrol station now selling facemasks- all prettied up in professional looking wrapping...10 for $20.&nbsp; Considering they are made of paper, and not sterile- a serious price hike there.</div>

Purps, did you fix it?!!Mid-day check in here. Hey Spacegoat!!We've had a quick ramp up in the temps here - hitting around 100 degrees for the next week.Feeling a little more stable the last few days - trying to eat better and getting some sunshine, just like our President suggested Stay well and be good ...

Hitting the ton in temps. Winter is coming here. Some hope for a good drop of rain..much needed. The covid stuff has replaced the bushfires are news of course- but the environment is very slowly healing itself.

I’ve been working tirelessly on redoing our decks. My conclusion is that I got old when I wasn’t looking. Holy cow, this is beating me up. We’ve had rain for a few days and I’m not upset. I need one more day of sunshine to finish.
Hey, Spacegoat.
I hope everyone is doing well, staying safe and of course, sober. Have a great Saturday/Sunday, friends,

Yes - how does this happen? We do all kinds of Zoom meetings at work now - I am clearly old
I watched this movie today called "Sea Gypsies: The Far Side of the World". Pretty good, if you are looking for recommendations. I can't remember if it was on Netfix or Amazon Prime.
Have a good night everyone!!

Re: Class of March 2016 Part 83

Online learning for art is working fine at the present. I surprised myself and did a sizable chunk yesterday without getting too sore and stuff. Some people I know - all members of our exclusive club, are starting to stress with the pandemic social rules of distancing and staying home. I have times where I feel like going out, but remind myself not to. This really is one of those times where the actions of individuals can make such a difference.

I think the actions of individuals can always make the difference - thanks for the reminder
I don’t understand how your online art classes make you sore, but there are a lot of things I don’t understand!! Hope you feel less sore tomorrow

Re: Class of March 2016 Part 83

We are allowed to go out. Just saying. And I imagine sitting in one place for so long during an online class, and all of the different positions arms etc have to be held in while drawing and creating....that would be hard. I am thinking. And I am older than you and Bobbie dear MITA, the oldest here I am pretty sure and I am not old. Just saying. Fight the creaking bones people!!

Re: Class of March 2016 Part 83

A bit of both, but I meant with online stuff- excepting the live bits- I can pace myself. Mind- my new laptop crashed- lost all work done in online studies. Took tech people 5 hours to fix. Why my FB crashed too. Sigh- first world prob.

Re: Class of March 2016 Part 83

No work recovered- yet. I am hoping the school has the answer. Things could be worse at sea. My laptop is working good now...sheesh I did no shenanigan's to it at all, only 8 months old- if that.
