Morning all. Sorry but I haven't been on the site for weeks now. But I am doing fine. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is and thank you all for your support. Today I am 1 year and 9 months alcohol free and 1 year 7 months weed free. My life is so different now, I am busy with voluntary work and house hunting. I go to AA twice a week and am the cake baker for all our soberversaries. I have come a long way from the first few weeks of sobriety when I could'nt leave the house and camped out on this thread. I had so much support from here and I will never forget it.

Great post Juliet and so glad you are well!
It's my day off and I'm going to try and make it a healthy one. I figure 38 weeks until Glasto at a pound off a week sounds doable right? Determined to make some positive changes to help my mental health and generally feel a bit better about myself. Day 1 of that so let's see!

24 for me please. Its 8.45am and we have a long drive home from Inverness but I'll check in when I can. I'm so relieved and grateful to have slept and sorted my head out. It's time for a proper and sustained committment to change.

I'm with you, want to shift a few pounds. I will start my day 1 Tuesday as we are away till then. Pound a week sounds right without depriving yourself as if you're like me trying to lose too quickly I get bored easily then go and pig out. Lol xx
