Congratulations Milestoners. 10:20pm here, sleep not happening so watching rubbish films while eating bacon sandwiches.

Son went back to Uni today (on Student Union committee so stuff to do before term starts) so very aware of the risk of HALT. Have plenty of food in, off work for 2 weeks so no need to go out tomorrow and can nap.

See you you all in the morning for tomorrow’s 24 hour pledge x

24 more sober hours please, and go!
Good meeting tonight, pizza for supper and now feel a bit guilty for eating junk but no one ever lost their sobriety by eating a pizza, right?

Watching some trailer park boys on Netflix, feel a little bit lonely and lost. Filling up my days with work, meetings, driving with music on just to quiet some of the noise in my head.

I’m torn between a meeting after work tomorrow, and going for a swim. It’s one or the other really and Tuesday night is the only time I like to swim as it’s adult only in the evening which means I can avoid watching families having fun with their kids and my thoughts turning to my children and ex partner. It’s painful.

Handing over tonight, and hoping for a good nights sleep but I seem to be functioning on much less than I used to need when I was drinking, obvious why really but I do feel a bit like I’m running on empty at the moment.

It’s really hard to sit with myself and my feelings right now but sit I must.

Thank you all for being here, it’s good to know I’m not truly alone.

Good Afternoon, fellow 24-ers. Just checking in again today. Not feeling like drinking, but definitely work-stressing, which used to be THE big trigger for me to start drinking immediately after work. I guess I’m just trying to avoid getting any dumb ideas by coming here and pledging again, instead! So, 12?
