24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 453
Good morning beautiful Suze! Good morning everyone!
Nice rain this morning, we needed it. It's a lazy Sunday morning and hope it stays that way. Life has been crazy and some down time would be nice. Praying for no emergencies today.
Sobriety has allowed me to gracefully handle this crazy, stressful time in life and I'm so grateful for it and for all of you.
24 more please with love to all.....xxxx

Hello lovely folks of the Grid..
Just checking in for my dose of sobriety for another 24 hours if I may.
Good meeting tonight and a nice drive home through the dusky countryside, made my sandwiches for lunch and now ready for bed, heating is on in August but it’s got quite chilly here tonight.
I was talking to my stepfather earlier and in an open and honest conversation he was saying what a great relief it is to see me in recovery and getting better, which led to talking about some of the things I’ve said and done, him expressing remorse for not being a better parent and other things, which ultimately led to me being able to make a thorough, and genuine amends to him.
It wasn’t a conscious decision, just kind of flowed into it and it feels like such a weight of guilt and shame has been accounted for and lifted. It’s hard to describe but I’m very grateful for the opportunity and humility I feel.
Sorry for rambling on, I just needed to share that.
Wishing everyone positive thoughts, I’m off to bed as I’m up at 6 am for work. Monday again and that’s ok.
Peace and love
