I'd take Chippy everywhere I go if I could Maybe I can get an emotional support dog and name him/her Chippy

Happy Saturday gang. It's been a busy day already for me and I'm almost ready for a nap
It's been nice to feel like I'm back on track after that relapse and dark time about a month ago. I've been surprised at how long it's taken me to find some sort of equilibrium after that. I've finally been sleeping pretty well this past week, which is critical.
Purps and Venus, I think that pic/gif is totally cute. I don't know who or what a Chippy is, but it's a great image to have on the top of the page!!

Never ever....EVER....go to an IKEA in Southern California on a Saturday. Think of thousands of pushy people, then double that...then throw in hundreds of screaming misbehaving children.
I feel the anxiety. It’s not good. And I’m hungry, tired and thirsty beyond belief. Im a billboard testament on what not to do when you want to stay sober, except I’m definitely not lonely.

Getting ready to call it a day here. I did manage a little downtime around mid-day, which was nice. Got a little swim in around sunset and then a nice dinner. I'll be getting up early tomorrow to head out before it heats up. Probably not quite as early as Purps and BBG, but I'm happy to let the two of you battle it out for startin' fluid honors

Got my startin' fluid going - just the regular brew this morning. Vanilla espresso sounds interesting.
I guess I jinxed myself with the sleep comment yesterday. Did not sleep well at all last night, so I'll just dial back my plans a little bit for today - no biggie.

I'm enjoying my coffee still, and watching the Tour de France on TV. Not much excitement in this event, but the scenery is very nice!
