24 more for me please & thanks.
It's lovely having Simon at home. We have talked, not a lot yet but it will happen. Just easing into each other's company again is enough I think for these first few tentative days.
Went to my GP today. He dished up a huge pile of tablets (anxiety meds & vitamins) and has sent off a referral for me to talk to the local Drug & Alcohol team. Not sure how different it'll be from the Rehab team I currently see but anyway it's done & I shall see what happens when they call me.
I must be changing a little, I was on the verge of cancelling the appt, but maybe just maybe I'm beginning to realise I need every bit of help I can get even though it makes me uncomfortable revealing my dirty little alcohol secret. Probably paranoia but I'm sure he looked a tad shocked at how much I drank recently, maybe it was admiration - not lol.
Enough of that...spent a pleasant time tidying up my garden tubs this afternoon. I'm Hoping to persuade Simon to go to the garden centre with me at the weekend & get some fresh plants yay.

Sweetpea honey ~ with great love: the only reason your wonderful doctor was shocked is because you were sitting there to tell the tale....it is a miracle that you survived the amount of alcohol that hit your system in a week or two. 
So he was stunned, but grateful as I am that you survived that. And I truly love him....sending you to the alcohol and drug support team is AWESOME. You will love every step....and sweetheart, the shame can and will fly out of the window. Everyone in this game has either been down our road personally or been very close to it....they ALL get it. And all they will do is help you, and arm you with tools to stay sober and deal with life on life's terms. 
And I am so very glad to hear how lovely it is to have Simon back home. ♥♥

Sweetpeacan, just so you know, I got put on anti-depressants a couple of months ago. Since then my anxiety has lessened greatly. I was having severe anxiety attacks. I thought I was going to die from a couple of the attacks. Life has gotten better and, yes the ability to abstain from alcohol has gotten a lot easier. Just keep on keepin on and, you’ll get there.
