How lovely Bobbie.....I am betting that when she is our age, Sophia will still remember that petting zoo with her nanna/grandma, but she won't remember a second of the big to-do party they are doing in a few weeks.

Definitely some crazy weather happening in Tornado Alley - hope it skirts around you Bobbie.
It's nice here - May has been much cooler than usual. Mid/low 70's for the next few days - then mid 80's.

Tornadoes are scary! Hope everyone in that alley stays clear of disaster.
Mindful crap....yes. Oooohhhhmmmmmm.
Traveling on business through Thursday. I’m in Santa Monica today and perhaps will walk down to the pier in the am before my meeting. California Dreaming...on such a lovely daaaaay! Ok coffee first,..then lovely day.
Staying in a hundred year old hotel. Very vintage lobby with roaring fire, velvet couches (heaven for me!)...but also has a wine bar. So headed to my room instead but unfortunately I canNOT figure out the heater in my room. Will need extra hot coffee tomorrow!

I am falling in love with this country.....my whole life, I had this feeling I was in the wrong place....I used to dream of old old places and enormous trees.....stuff you rarely get to see in Aus.....moreso in PJ's neck of the woods....Adelaide is gorgeous and very historical.
Anyway.....love and good morning and good night.
And I will add this: I am really happy.

♥♥Lillian - It sounds awesome. The heater thing would suck. I hate being cold. The AC is on in my office so I have on a sweater and my space heater is blasting under my desk. To be fair, I sit under a vent so I am always freaking cold. I hope your coffee is strong and hot today. Like our men. (I crack myself up sometimes)

No, that is not a chant for lesbian, gay, bisexual. It is Let's Go Blues! We made it to the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 49 years. My town is going crazy. It is a lot of fun. 4 more wins.
I hope everyone has a spectacular day. We had no tornadoes in my neck of the woods. Just satellite outages and no internet. First world problems. We survived. And my laundry was completed.

♥♥Here are pictures of the hotel. I heard the actor Chris Pratt was just here. I stayed in the same room as his mom. Had breakfast on the patio this morning and it was so very delightful. Didn’t make it to the pier, too sleepy...but they had bicycles with flower baskets you could ride to the boardwalk. Next time!

We could make a friendly non-financial wager on the outcome though I suspect it's iffy at best with board policy. So instead, let the better team win and enjoy the series.

13th - yeah. We are not big fans of the whole Boston sports arena. Lost to the Sox in the world series, lost to the Patriots in the super bowl...some bitter taste here. May the better team win. (I don't really mean that. lol)

Our state got hit hard last night. Lots of power outages and some damage. We are all good though. No deaths reported, which is great. I really think having alerts on our phones helps a lot, as annoying as it can be. We have been in my basement 2 nights this week due to alerts.
