Sorry about the traffic Purps!

Grogginess lifted after a bit - got outside for a while to clear my head. Followed up with a nice dinner. Keeping things simple.

Have a great night everyone!!

I can do whiny pretty well myself sometimes. I think we’re allowed

Getting ready to start the day here with some you-know-what!!!

We have a bbq to go to later. I’ll be fine. It’s coming at a time when I’m feeling very positive. Some decent mindfulness crap for me lately, as well as some real coming to terms with the many ways my general anxiety has infiltrated my life and the thoughts and behaviors I’ve adopted to cope/manage/avoid. All good stuff. I don’t think this kind of reflection will ever really end. That’s okay too.

Be good ....

I hear you MITA, but nevertheless, take some soft drink or whatever with you. I always do. Juice for me.... I am in love with orange juice presently.

A very thoughtful suggestion. Thank you Suze!

I’m on a Perrier / Pellegrino kick lately. I’ll pick up a few big bottles and bring those

Back home after hanging out with a friend....she has all kinds of gadgets to make jewelry, so she showed me how to assemble earrings and a bracelet. She offered me a glass of wine but I turned it down (boy it looked good, though!)

Here is an interesting piece of info from the book I'm reading called "Born to Drum"

When the Who appeared on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour on US television in 1967, their performance of the song "My Generation" climaxed with the denotation of super-loud explosives in Keith Moon's bass drum, to the surprise of everybody else in the studio, including the drummer's bandmates. Moon's arm was cut by shrapnel from his cymbals, and the explosion caused the actress Bette Davis, another guest on the show, to faint."

Back from the BBQ, and doing well. It was a small affair, and while there was some alcohol available it wasn't a big drinking event.

Made it to the gym earlier today, so that was a bonus as well.

Have a great night everyone!!

Come to think of it, Shannon wears hearing aids now ~ The guys say they think he takes them out on purpose, so he doesn't have to listen to them I saw a quote when asked what advice he'd give to young drummers; he said "Wear ear plugs."

Happy Tuesday morning gang. Starting fluid coming up.

It’s always nice to make it through the long weekends. I didn’t just have to battle my way through. It was a fun weekend - Small victories.

Good morning guys. We had a good weekend. Did yard work the entire time. I was a little exhausted at one point and looked around and said in my head "I'm so grateful I get to be exhausted working on my yard." How's that for mindfulness crap? lol

Looks like everyone had a good weekend. Proud of our group.

Have a great day, people!
