24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 393
0700 in Adelaide, South Australia. Sunrise happening- the lorakeets as usual are going nuts- 'LOOK GUYS! THE SUN! THE SUN!'. Nothing but blue skies (can I see).
My new (but old) car goes in for a major service today (my precious) so it is all good for my new main activity of starting in an Arts program....hoping it will be just routine and I used my powers of buying old cars were true. Then meet with staff at arts school to enrol...a big day- 'cos I have been working to this for a long time now.
Support to all.
Love the joke Neeo....you should check out 'the Lighter side' thread.

I am so frustrated. I have an important test on Wednesday and it's going to make it so hard to study without my computer. I'm so close to a nervous breakdown. My usual coping mechanism would be to drown my frustration, and I feel extra frustrated trying to fight off those thoughts. I'm just at the end of my rope.

I can probably manage using another computer. But everything is on there and would have made it 1000% easier. Plus, I'm just frustrated because I dont really have the $ to fix it right now. Figures this would happen now.
Check power cables. Other than that it could be the power supply... Is it a laptop or a desktop PC? Either way, you can take it to a PC repair shop and your hard drive should be fine; I'm pretty sure they can just copy the information from the hard drive... I know it's not ideal, but you could go to the library to use computers and study there...
I looked up a couple of places for you.....somewhere you can call to get some help where you are...if you need to do that...let me know.
So .....look at you....you have gone from panic to saying you can still do it....that's pretty cool love. ♥
EDIT: yep....what snuf said...one of the places I found for you is data recovery if you need it.
And stop trying to get it turned on I think....you could blow the power in your house and that would be really annoying.

But I didn't.
Fingers crossed for your exam!! I know it's annonyoing as hell with all that happened, but hopefully you can recover whatever you had on your laptop, and use your smartphone or another computer meanwhile...
