I got you!! IT issues can be soooo frustrating... Remember to back up all your work, external hard drive is a great way to store huge amounts of data... I learned the hard way.
A few years ago I was commissioned to create and design an adult colouring book, and after 2 months of working on it full time, I lost EVERYTHING after my laptop broke.
I thought I'm gonna dieeeee.
But I didn't.
Fingers crossed for your exam!! I know it's annonyoing as hell with all that happened, but hopefully you can recover whatever you had on your laptop, and use your smartphone or another computer meanwhile...
