Class of March 2013 Part 53
We used to go sledging un the Wrekin, an extinct volcano near where I lived. My daughter went in the Cairngorms a couple of years back and hit a bump landing awkwardly, they had to get her helicoptered out as they suspected spinal injuries. She's fine, but it's put our gson right off.
Ah, Gilmer! Your description brings back happy memories :-)
Babs, I know you are cold though I think it’s perhaps harder for those living in the south because they aren’t used to it!
Keep warm everyone!

We use to have the steep hills to slide down too. and we would go double decker on a sled and hope to heck we would make it through the two posts of the fence at the bottom. it was a blast. and believe it or not. If you were heading towards that post for gods sake roll off. ha ha ha ha
Babs----Oh thanks for that memory---I'm still smiling.

When I walked out of work last night at 7 PM, I knew I was tired. I just slept till 11 AM.
But yesterday was one hell of a day. 12 hours of work rearranging and re-organizing half of the little factory. The coworkers were "SQUEEEEE!" all day as things developed and became obvious. What a ton of fun. This morning, a note from the owner that he would never have thought to do what we did. Well, that's why you hired me!
Good times.

Not much new with me, Toots. I’m taking the month of January off from school—I was pretty wiped out after the last class, plus I went into tunnel vision mode and was pretty inaccessible to my family members, so taking the whole month to expressly fawn over them is definitely the “politically correct” thing to do!
In my down time I finished a craft project that I thought would never be finished—and when it actually was finished, I was so pumped that I decided to start another one that was even more challenging!
I had done a lot of entertaining over the holidays and got pretty stressed out. I revived after New Years, though.
