My addiction is sure whispering at me this afternoon. Not gonna act on it. I haven't really eaten today so cooking something now. If I don't leave the house, I can't buy the poison and if I don't have the poison I can't drink it. Not a sustainable plan for the long term but it'll work for today.

I bought a new bicycle.
I went for a ride on my new bicycle.
I fell off my new bicycle, heavily on the burns hand and that knee. Also broke the wrist strap on my lovely new watch that has bits. OK- but a little sore.
The bike was unharmed.
My watch is repaired.
I was 'naughty' and had 2 roast REAL potatoes with tea.

Happy Thanksgiving Marchers! I got up and went to the gym this morning.....(before startin' fluid?!?! WHAT!) But I'm on my second cup now
I work a 4.5 hour shift today at noon.....not sure what to expect since I'm normally not there during the week ~ hoping it'll be quiet since people are busy cooking at home.....there's normally a skeleton crew for holidays....then I'm going to Mom's for dinner ~ pizza and pumpkin pie
I dropped the food off last night and said hi to Moe (the kitty who came back after running away for 3 days) ~ he's got that swagger like "Yep, I'm awesome, and I'll probably do it again too!" ~ What a brat.....thankful he is back, tho...

For some unknown to me reason one of the TV channels I get decided that Thanksgiving Day would be a good day to show "Gone With The Wind" continuously all day! They're even calling it a "Thanksgiving Special".
I really don't see the connection! But I'm watching anyway. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans. Happy Just Another Thursday to Sam. Happy Just Another Friday to the Australians. Happy Whatever Day to anyone else.
I have to work today. Trying to have a positive attitude about it. Trying and mostly succeeding. That being said--don't go out to eat today if you don't have to. Don't encourage businesses to make decisions like this. Not sure if I'll stop by the folk's house after work or not. Told them I probably wasn't. But I will need to do laundry so maybe I'll change my mind.
Purps, I watched the last Gamera the flying turtle movie, Gamera vs. Zigra. It was reasonably funny. Gamera is really sweet! He is filled with turtle meat!
Hope the big dinner goes well, PeacefulRain, and that your mystery bruise is healing nicely.
Glad you and your watch survived your bike fall, Phoenix. Maybe Bobbie can send you her extra watermelon helmet.

I'm not going to drink today. No matter what.
