Well, I have my good luck UGA shirt on and am ready for this ballgame.
I've got my greens and peas and cornbread for the traditional new years meal. Family can't get together due to virus infection.

Well it's all over for another year. All that planning, shopping, stressing, done with. Mil is getting better, now in a rehab hospital and desperate to get back to her own room in the OFH she lives in. We are leaving tomorrow night for a few days up in Fort William, a lovely part of Scotland, near the Glencoe mountain range, and home of Britains biggest mountain Ben Nevis. We are taking Molly with us and looking forward to the break. It isn't the warm sunshine of Spain, but it is just the two of us.

What a ballgame. Double overtime victory. Hell of an opponent.
Not that anyone here stresses about it but, UGA plays for the national championship next week. And we can beat 'Bama.

Just got back from a meeting ---and as always--- glad I went.
My BIL is going home from the hospital today. and they are getting things
ready to be sold at my MIL sooooooo, I'm looking forward to a quiet eve.
It's a short week ---and that's just fine with me.

Gilmer, it's set for 2/12. Part of me is discouraged that it's so late but then again it's only a few more weeks at this point. I really, really, really want this over with and behind me.

Papers were dutifully filed and she ignored them. "Fine", I said.
Then I left the state. And left word that I had moved to Jupiter. Jupiter, Florida. I was really in Kentucky.
She had a good meltdown. Married to a guy she couldn't even locate. With divorce papers in hand. A few years later, I let her know she could have a divorce now. Those papers got signed in a hurry.
